Hi I've only read your first post,
But please dont feel like your distroying your childs life, i totally understand how your feeling as i also have a 7 year old and it must of been heart breaking to here him say that.
But please know you are the most important thing in your childs life, not matter how skint you are.
When it comes down to your kids(family) money doesnt matter at all.

My kids are the most important things in my world and no matter how skint i am i know that being with them is the best thing ever, listening to them read, watching them put all their effort into drawing a picture, just watching them play quietly on their own, is just so lovely and doesnt cost a thing.

I love animals too. I'm convinced my DH would choose the dog over me, if he had to !!!!

I'm just about to go out and catch my death of cold, looking for one of our cats, who my DD has just noticed has got a poorly ear.

She cant stay out in the cold now can she :rolleyes:
