Couldn't have put it better myself.

We have had problems with my MiL in the past. Wont go into any detail here, but she no longer has our phone number, and hasnt been in our house for 6 years. Her behaviour has lost her her son and two grandchildren and now she writes telling us she's lonely. Shame innit

There is no law that says you must accept any !!!!!! you're family wish to throw at you. You dont have to put up with it any longer.
