Sorry to hear that jwil. Bit of a drag really. I stuck my van insurance on the credit card at 0% but now realise that now have to account for it anyhow! Hmm...having to account for all the pennies can be so tiresome.
I may have a wee glass of vino this eve..haven't had one for a few days but think we all deserve one..! :-)

Thanks guys, I'm sure it will all work out eventually.
I'm feeling positively rich today as some cash has arrived and I now have £27 in my bank account :j
I've had a snotty question from a buyer about something I am selling telling me I have to update the listing. I don't mind if people tell me something that is wrong or give me some information, but telling me rudely what I *should* be doing is out of order. It's not even a big deal. I didn't realise it was missing from the listing, but it's not something that would bother a lot of people.
I had a lovely message from someone once about something I was selling - they gave me lots of details to add and in the end the item went for a lot more than I'd ever thought it would (it was something we inherited and I didn't know anything about it). They sell things too, and they could have got themselves a bargain and sold it on, but they didn't. I thought that was really nice of them."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi jwil
Glad you have some funds in your account now
isn't it funny with people ? I do wonder how they go on in their lives / jobs - although i do know alot of people who are very direct and rude so guess thats all that happens with messages - some people are lovely and others are
Did i say i've had to action another refundHow can all these items be going missing ?
So yet another claim to go in and time spent faffing about with that
It is ridiculous though - just now i can think of 3 items which i've sent and haven't been received this year
Got a couple of items with bids on - but only a couple - after today don't think i've anything ending listing for a few days either - hopefully plenty of time for people to decide they want to purchase the goodies i'm sellingCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
That's a shame about the refund DDFW. How frustrating  Were they UK or international sales? I've been very lucky in that I've only had a few over the years, and the majority of those were international ones.
I don't have funds any more  They have been invested in fuel.

Hi jwil - they've all been uk ones :undecided
Fuel is a grr-some bill too isn't it - i spend more on fuel & commuting per week than on food - and thats not necessarily for a huge commute either ! Part of the reason i want to work closer to home and have myself a brompton to travel about on - and a really cool helmet too of course
On the subject of food a couple of things have happened today - my freezer is beyond full  i really need to leave the bargain sections alone! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: So i'm going to be very strict with the shopping over the next few weeks and thereby saving some pennies
Also i read a really thought provoking blog on time and its shuffled me into realising i don't need to wait for everything to be perfect and i don't need to get everything perfect the first time i need to just get on with it! (where've i heard that before :rotfl:) so i've jotted down a couple of meals i'm going to make from recipes - even the sides :j *how exciting* i've most of the ingredients in anyways so not alot of outlay financially and i'm really looking forward to it
The recipe book was easily decided upon - the first on the shelf and then work my way through them all :T Hungry now though thinking of what i'm going to cook :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You've also reminded me OH borrowed my car and left petrol in this time. So i'd better move that money over to debt as i'd have had to pay it out anyway :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Oh i should have said - this is also a form of decluttering - if i come across any books where there's only 1 or 2 recipes in i'll realistically make or enjoy then i can photocopy these and list the books for sale - ah gotta love multi-taskingCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000

DDFW..that's a good point..we have loads of recipe books..maybe the kitchen needs decluttering too.. And we can always save favourite recipes by photocopying them first.
Thanks for the hint!

Morning Jwil
Sorry to hear you are faced with a bill you hadn't budgeted on. One minute you think you are doing well and the next you are knocked down. You will sort this out Jwil. I agree with the constant listing. Its hard work and it would be nice to have lots of big value items. What about car boots this weekend?

Hi everyone, :hello:
I had an OK couple of days away, it was business not pleasure. Not much in the mood for doing any work now I'm back, which is a bad thing but I can't seem to get motivated.
Did manage to get some tomato seeds planted though and a few other things, so that's exciting. I love seeing new plants germinate and I am already looking forward to all those delicious fresh tomatoes.
There are a billion things to be done around the house and I don't seem to have rustled up the enthusiasm to do any of those jobs either. Need to give myself a good kick up the backside.
The March challenge has been an unmitigated disaster so far, have achieved almost nothing.
Sigh - I think it's going to be one of those weeks where nothing seems right and I wonder how I managed to make such a balls-up of my life.0
