It's a bit colder up here on the hills though and it's starting to snow much more heavily. Gotta make at least two more trips out in the car - the second one at 10:30pm. I think it will have calmed down by then though.
I bought lots of nice food that will enable me to keep eating 'clean' for the next week or so. As for being snowed in, there's enough in the freezers and cupboards to do us for weeks if necessary.
Have a nice day all.
It was the same here - we popped out at lunchtime and it was crazy! We're not even really predicted anything. People are ridiculous. You can see the snow on the hills though. Have safe trips out though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I haven't really done much today again
I'm quite enjoying these lazy weekends, though I'm not achieving much and it's not helping me raise extra cash.
I did go through and reorganise the kitchen cupboards (with the not so angelic aim of seeing if I had enough ingredients in the house to make cookies) but that was good and something I've been meaning to do for ages. I know exactly what I've got now and where to find it. I also managed to find ingredients I'd been looking for previously and had to go out and replace because I couldn't find them  There's also a lot of out of date stuff in there, so the next project will be to use as much as I can up (nothing that will be harmful, but most of it is dated 2009
) It does reflect how little I've cooked/baked properly since I've been in this house.

Oh dear - i totally cannot cope with 'battle of the trollies' i always try and shop before the weekend - i can get to and from the supermarket quicker as well as hopefully get round it faster too. Well done on buying healthy foodstuffs too :T I must admit to really enjoying healthy things - just not being able to afford it as it does bump up the shopping a fair bitI haven't really done much today againI'm quite enjoying these lazy weekends, though I'm not achieving much and it's not helping me raise extra cash.

Swap you a cookie for some cake?
I don't achieve half as much as you DDFW, but I have decluttered some books"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Ok, I think I *have* actually achieved some stuff today so I'm going to list it
- Finished book before getting out of bed
- Checked emails/ebay/played bingo etc
- Packed some ebay parcels
- Looked through some recipe books to see if there were any recipes I wanted to keep before getting rid
- Took DH over to pick up his car
- Sorted through kitchen cupboards
- Went to get a few things from supermarket
- Lunch
- Watched Fringe
- Finished another book
- Finished a health book I just wanted to flick through and read a few sections
- 3 lots of washing done
- Dishes
In case anyone is wondering, I usually have several books on the go at once, and so often finish a load at the same time, I'm not that speedy"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Morning everyone
Lazy morning this morning, did not get up properly until 9am (that's about 3 hours later than a normal sunday
So I spent some time in bed reading and now I'm going to try and have a productive day. I've just been very lucky on BP so I might be able to redeem 2 amazon vouchers this week, hurrah! :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Aww thanks Brizzle, not sure about that though
So far all seems well with the OOD ingredients. I may have had to bash the sugar though to 'un-brick' it though :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Cookies are now in the oven and I've half prepared the fruit cake."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Morning Jwil
Glad you are having a bit of relaxation time at home. I love your de-cluttering of the books:)
I'm still in the 'can't be a***d mode but have a few bids on ebay so that surely will motivate me to do something this coming week. Doing no challenges this month but hope to make some money along the way."You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis
