That Cobra stretch can be sort-of done standing up. Just stand up and lean backwards just with your top half if you see what I mean.
When I banjaxed by lower back, I was in discomfort whenever I was sitting down - standing up / walking was so much more comfortable and in fact ironing (I know you don't iron much) was the most comfortable of all - I think the gentle movement was very soothing.
Thanks p&f, I try and remember but I'm not very good at it. I must though, it's very painful today.
Funnily enough, I find walking very uncomfortable as on occasion it 'jars' my back, but keeping it mobile by stretching does help a lot, and that's when it's most comfortable. I do find it helps washing the dishes (I'm not uncomfortable enough to try ironing) so maybe I'll have a nice sparkly kitchen

OH kindly said that i am toning up *eep* i certainly don't want to tone up at this size  - Hoping in 2weeks i'll see a difference - not expecting any change this week as i've been exercising but totally rubbish at it as i'm so tired
But we'll see.

Anyway i'll soon be put out of my misery on that and will then need to make a decisioni can't afford to keep the car so need it to sell *now* but i can't stomach the idea of letting it go for £2000 less than its worth

I've cut so much rubbish out of my diet but I'm not sure I'm shifting much weight. I think it'll be a long haul and maybe 1 pound per week is over-ambitious.
But we'll see.
I can't offer any advice on this one but I thought I'd cheer you up by saying that little old car isn't worth 2 grand in the first place. :rotfl:
You'll get there with the weightloss - both of you. When I've lost weight before, I seem to lose on alternate weeks - so one week I'd have a loss, the next it would be nothing or even a small gain. Ultimately it went down, though it was a slow process and quite disheartening at times.
I think my car is just about worth £2000 :cool:peaceandfreedom wrote: »Meant to say that I sold a couple of items on ebay for a profit of roughly 40 smackeroonies. Gone to my Cap1 credit card.

Oooh I've got a right grump on tonight :rotfl: Not sure why really, it's been steadily building up all day. I'm shattered so I'm going to have a nice early night tonight with a book and try and chill out.
Hope everyone is well!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

peaceandfreedom - i don't know if my response came across right yesterday - Basically what i should have put is that your post cheered me up because you pointed out the obvious positive to me about something which i've just been stressing out aboutThank you
It made me smile that i realised i should be grateful that i have this car and the opportunity to get some decent money for it so i can at least try and clear target 1 in my sig
And of course apologies if my reply was blunt in any way
jwil - thank you for your advice yesterday - i honestly wasn't expecting a reply after seeing your post on here - as peaceandfreedom says hope the blues have left you now
ebayqueen - hi good to see you againHope all is well with you too x
