Hi jwil..hope you're feeling better now x
The sun is shining here and apart from some decent cash on the PV panels (£1.40 yesterday:T) it makes everything seem better. Hope everything is good with you and you have a good weekend planned..

Thank you
It made me smile that i realised i should be grateful that i have this car and the opportunity to get some decent money for it so i can at least try and clear target 1 in my sig
And of course apologies if my reply was blunt in any way
Your reply was absolutely fine and I'm glad I cheered up you.Although my car is old and not worth a lot, I love it and intend to hang to it as long as I can.
I wish you luck in selling your car and I hope you get a good price for it. What will you do for transport when it's sold?0 -

Hello everyone, happy weekend!
Happy weekend to you too, Jwil, and everyone else.
My weekend has started off well because I got on the scales this morning hoping I'd have lost 1 pound - and I've lost 2!! :j
Off now to do my Bodyrock session before some nice breakfast, then off to do some food shopping (braving the sub-zero temperatures).:)0 -

Hi peaceandfreedom erm... i have 2 cars... - i do absolutley love the car i'm selling :smileyhea but need the money and don't have the money to spend looking after it and making cosmetic improvementsI have already bought my other car
Its a bit of a long story but basically i had my car and some time later was made redundant and needed a bigger car for the job i managed to get so got a bigger car with the intention of using that just for work and keeping the car i'm selling for personal use. In the end i can't afford to keep both cars and still need my bigger car for the p/t work i do. I also desperately need the money
For various reasons i've not tried to sell my car before - just because i was rushing round doing so much p/t work, f/t work, mystery shopping, eb*y, carboots and to be honest was just overwhelmed with the thought of selling it and couldn't face alot of things.
It does sound silly needing money and not trying to sell my car sooner but i hadn't really realised that it was still worth something decent rather than a few hundred pounds.
Anyways if it sells now i'll keep a grand back for debts and the rest will go on essential home jobs. Living in a halfish finished home is taking its toll on us at the moment and i need cash to get some work done - really does need to be done professionally. So i think its a good compromise to reduce the debt by some and improve our home with the rest as this will have a massive psychological boost on both levels

*searches around for the smiling but envious smiley* :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Well done peaceandfreedom :T:T:T:T Weigh in for me tomorrow but honestly don't think any of this podge has moved! Seriously though i am going to have to up the ante - going to try and find out about some early morning fitness classes - what put me off last time though was you put your name down each week for these classes that are notoriously full - so you could end up going once and loving it and then not get in again for 6weeks  Right off to package some parcels -- back laterCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Agree 100% DDFW, you need to feel good about your home. I know how it feels to NOT feel good about it because that's the way our house is - loads needs to be done but a lot of it is cosmetic and we are going to get off our backsides this year and do it.
I think you are doing exactly the right thing and I hope your car sells for a good price. :beer:0 -

Well, you should have seen the supermarket today - people are panic-buying thinking they are going to be snowed in. Total battle of the trollies. It was actually a balmy 0 degrees there and a few feeble flurries of snow so I don't understand what the panic is about.
It's a bit colder up here on the hills though and it's starting to snow much more heavily. Gotta make at least two more trips out in the car - the second one at 10:30pm. I think it will have calmed down by then though.
I bought lots of nice food that will enable me to keep eating 'clean' for the next week or so. As for being snowed in, there's enough in the freezers and cupboards to do us for weeks if necessary.
Have a nice day all.0
