    Hello - its Friday :D

Hope you are ok? Sorry to hog your thread but I dont want to start a diary just to track my £300 goal lol. Had a good ebay week and my total is now

£130 / £300 - dont think I will make 300 by end of month but will keep trying.

Free listing this weekend so will see how I feel. The plumber and my OH mate are installing the log burning stove and connecting it to the central heating so house is going to be even more of a tip :o

About to cash another £5 Amazon voucher so I have £32 in amazon to buy OH xmas present :D

How is puppy doing? How is bump - is it moving yet? It was so long ago that I was pregnant I cant remember when that happens.
  • Hello everyone

LAM - well done with the challenge. There are still 2 weeks to go!

I have another £43 taking my total to £104. I potentially have a good Ebay sale but I'm a bit worried that the buyer will return the item so I'm not counting it yet! I have done quite a few MSs this month so should see some payments come in later this month.

I've got a quiet weekend planned. At least it should be cheap!

    Best wishes all x

  • Hi all,

Hope you're all well :) i was quite ill on friday but still managed to get the house jobs done that i do each friday (washing, pot washing, grocery shop and move) i was pleased with this as it meant i din't have to get up early today to catch up as it were. Had 12 hours in bed and feeling a little better now :)

FLW - got at least 10 things to list *must do this* and of course all the re-lists that i'm going to drop in price ;)

LAM - i wouldn't worry about house mess - if you saw mine you'd be  :rotfl: I still have the hall, landing, bathroom and living room to declutter  These rooms / areas are all a complete mess at the moment whilst the decluttering / tidying hasn't been done :o

LAM/CHOCS - well done on the sales :T chocs - i know what you mean - sometimes you just get a feeling about a sale don't you ? positive thoughts the sale goes through fine.

    P&F - hope you are ok x

jwil - hope you are ok too xx

  • A quick popping-in - I really must get back to checking in here more regularly.

DDFW, thanks for always thinking of me. :) I've had a few upheavals lately but I am soldiering on.

Lots to do and lots of financial stuff to sort out, I will aim to report a summary here soon. I feel though, that this year I have mainly stood still rather than made progress. :o However, given that OH is still out of work and I'm not earning much, I suppose that's not bad going.

We are going out tonight and I really must try to get some housework done this afternoon. I've come over all lazy, which is NOT unusual. :D

Have a great Saturday everyone. Jwil, hope you are OK.
  • Like your new sig p&f :D

You are right - if your situation hasn't got any worse with only one income coming in then that is ALOT that you have achieved x So sorry to hear that Mr p&f is still out of work x

Hmm... housework... i have been putting that off until the great declutter has finished and then i can hopefully actually get around the house :o

Jwil - how are you hon ? Are you still going to the carboots ? It has now officially gotten too cold for me to go :o I declared this today after we went and it was freezing - alot less stalls than usual which is understandable but we didn't find much at all on the stalls that were there - bought 1 thing each - which i suppose is something after getting up at 5.30am  it has been the same this last couple of weeks - only buying 1 or 2 things so i think we will leave it until next year now.

I have got those things to list on the bay of e - very tired today but really need to take advantage of the FLW. Hope it is a good sunday for all xx

Hi all sorry to hear you're feeling low I think it must be catching.

I did list a few items on the Bay of E and so far have £27 but loads of watchers on the items so fingers crossed. I also had one interested in a sewing machine and asked how much to courier it so fingers crossed. OH is still poorly from his fall.

Hope you sold your sewing maching retired, and is your OH recovering now?
OK folks - i have no idea what plans you all have but i hear that you all say you have *lots* of plans for stuff when you get home. One of the big things that helps me when i have things to do - and i am sure lots of you see the epic lists i post. Is that when i have a day in work i head home with the plan to do just 1 thing. This week for example i have been clearing out the kitchen cupboards. I now have the fridge left to clean, 1 cupboard and a half of a shelf to go. Which i think is pretty good going :) Basically i just give myself 1 cupboard a day to do - it doesn't sound alot but because it does sound so little its achievable and i often find i can get a bit more done to. So by the end of this week i'll have finished the entire kitchen - all cupboards emptied and decluttered as necessary, all sides wiped down, fridge cleaned drawers done too :D Of course if i'd come home with the intention of doing the whole kitchen or just making a start i'd have felt overwhelmed but the little steps are easy for me ;)

My problem is that once I get home, cook, walk the dogs, do any packing needed for ebay and anything else, I just want to sit down and have a break. Because I tend to be up early I go to bed early so don't have that much time in the evening really. I should make more of an effort though!
    Hi Jwil

It is a nice bright sunny morning here and I was thinking it would be a good day for you, and other car booting fans, to be out.

A few of us have said we feel down at the moment. I get the impression that it has gone on a while for you. Obviously you have lots of issues, the baby, job and money and no doubt you can think of others. All I wanted to say is that "sad" and "depressed" can be used interchangably but as you know, are two very different things. If you are heading towards the latter, you would seek help, wouldn't you? An article on the BBC news site reminded me of this.

    Best wishes

Thanks chocforever, you are completely right, and I am aware that I am teetering on the edge. I am watchful of myself and will get help if needed. I think on this occasion though I was just exhausted and needed a break. (Still do really). I am feeling better though now so fingers crossed it's passing again.

Thanks for your concern though :A

Hog away :D It's nice to hear how others are doing.

Puppy is a bit of a nightmare, struggling with the toilet training. She's a cutie though and will get there eventually.

Bump is ok, I am feeling movements so that's all good too.

Yep still booting :) The main one we go to is all year round and was still packed this weekend. We'll go throughout the year as long as it's not chucking it down. The ones close to home which are on grass have stopped now though.

Hey everyone, sorry for the absence. Thanks for all the good wishes. I shall try and post more regularly again.

Still very busy here, but things are plodding along. I've completely lost track of where I am with this month's challenge, but have managed a number of sales so I've done quite well.

The weather here is atrocious today and flooding everywhere. It took me over an hr and a half to get to work this morning - on a good day it takes 15 mins!

I have the dentist tomorrow  the first time in years, but I've got toothache so it is needed badly. My teeth are in a state so I'm going to make full use of my exemption card :money: there are some benefits to being pregnant :rotfl:

    Hope everyone is well :)
