Hi all, Sorry that i have been MIA for a while especially with so much going on.

Jwil - i am sorry to hear things have been hard for you - i am here if you need me just holler x Well Done on the sales for Mr Jwil - hopefully that has cleared quite a bit of space and the money has spurred him on with selling more things too :) Wow! I never realised how far along you were with the pregnancy :T

Peaceandfreedom - i am really sorry to hear things are stressful for you - you can always PM if you want to x I hope you are ok though, take care of yourself and we will still be here when you want to pop back.

LAM - Grr! to flippin interest - at least as you say the new loan will be much better for you.

Retired - so sorry to hear about your Mr's fall and the impact on the finances too - but as you say it could have been worse and hopefully he will be feeling much better soon x Good Luck with the bay of e sales.

i haven't been on so much as i hit an exhaustion patch again :( i was ill last week and this seemed to trigger the tiredness and i have literally just been sleeping and going to work. I finally crammed in the MS's i had been assigned but they took so much longer as i was just in no shape to do them most days.

i got the last bit of birthday present shopping done yesterday so that is an expense out of the way now. The car also had its MOT which was another big expense - i guess it wasn't as dear as it could have been but still it was a fair bit of money. The food shop was also dearer than it should have been - i overspent by £10 - as i was taking advantage of a number of offers that won't be available next week - so i need to try and recoup some of this. Going out for a birthday meal later so i am going to walk there (2 miles) as it will save on the taxi fare :o

The good money news is that i used my supermarket vouchers to get an item we have needed for quite a while so was good not having to actually spend cash on that. I have also just redeemed a voucher for a clothes shop - my boots are letting water in now :o but i am trying to get my new ones with as much vouchers as possible :)

Just seen that it is free listing and i have a few bits to put on - but they are only a few bits so will start that shortly. Got 3 bits with bids on now as well.

Hope everything's ok peaceandfreedom and sorts itself out soon. Shout if you want anything. Take care of yourself.

My finances are completely screwy at the moment too.

I've just put in my request for maternity leave. I've requested the whole year, but the reality is, I'll be going back once SMP kicks in. Now just got to try and win the lottery so things get easier!

I'm 24 weeks tomorrow - technically the baby will be viable and they would try and save him should I go into early labour. That's very scary  It makes it a lot more real.

24 WEEKS - eek that went quickly. Would be nice to have whole year off - is there nothing you can do to work from home?

Hi all, just popping my head round the corner. It's been a tough couple of weeks and finances have gone through the roof. My OH fell down the stairs (literally top to bottom) in the middle of the night. He's so lucky to have got a way with just being battered, bruised with some cracked ribs. He had a bump on the back of his head the size of an ostrich egg (CT scan didn't show any serious injury) but he has been poorly. Time off of work hasn't helped as he doesn't get sick pay just SSP. It could have been worse.

Good to see those sales on Eb*y going well. I've a few bits to sell and really must try and get them listed. Apart from some low item stuff there's a camera, scanner, sewing machine so hopefully they'll fetch a few bob.

Will try not to leave it so long before I pop in again. Have a good weekend everyone

Ouch - hope your OH is ok - my back problems stem from a fall down some stairs - I damaged vertabrae 3 and 4 but was too stubborn to initially seek medical help. Nothing worse than back pain.

    Hi all

Sorry, meant to be pop back in before now. Thanks for the welcome back. :)

Things have turned a bit stressy here at the moment, can't really discuss it out in the open but I need to pull myself together. :(

Still haven't got back to grips with the finances either. :o

Jwil, glad to see you are keeping well and what fabulous sales you've achieved lately! I am seriously impressed.

Be back in another few days when I've got my head together.

Hugs - hope you are ok x

I dont really have any news at the moment. Need another free weekend to get a few chunky (money wise) items on ebay that I am not prepared to let go for peanuts.

Still waiting on my £60 TCB from Orange.

Got 353 bonus points for Swgs for last month so cashed another £5 amazon voucher. Gone back to vouchers as OH wants either surround sound for the telly or a pair of cordless headphones. Well one guess which ones he is getting! Honestly I cant sleep as it is with the carp he watches on telly! :rotfl:

Found out my new loan provider doesnt have online statements or banking  so I need to be extra vigilant with my new spreadsheet now :D Still waiting for acc numbers etc so I can start overpaying.

Very windy and cold here at the mo - I expect my neddys are going to be very eager to come in tonight.

    Keep warm everyone.
  • Hi Jwil

I hope things are better with you. Have you had any good Ebay sales over the last few days? I'm finding it a bit slow at the moment but maybe its just the things I am trying to sell.

    Best wishes

    .

It would be lovely to, but I don't know what I'd be able to do. I'm not very creative and that seems to be what most people do working from home.

Cordless headphones seem the way to go!

That's so frustrating when you can't have online access, my loan is like that too. What century are these companies in?

I've not had too much luck recently, a few sales, but only low value. It all counts though. I'm going to try and get some more on today and see how that goes.
