Yeah well done on £1,500 how fab. I think my highest ever on ebay was £300 for an old car lol.

I am running out of stuff that I want to ebay but I know I need to.

I'm certainly not running out of stuff, but it's all very low value so need to put on and sell loads for anything significant. I think I tend to average about £3 per sale so it just gets tiresome.

It was very exciting seeing the bidding go up I must say. A couple of bits went for over £200 and we were expecting about £80 on a good day!

I think my best sale was something which I'd paid £7 for at a boot sale, used for a couple of years, then sold it for £77 :T

I've just checked my valued opinions balance and I've got £17.25 in there :T Not going to get a voucher yet as I'd like Amazon and they've stopped them at the moment. They said on their FB page that they are hoping to get them back at the end of November, so I wonder if I can get to £20 by then.

  • Hi all

Sorry, meant to be pop back in before now. Thanks for the welcome back. :)

Things have turned a bit stressy here at the moment, can't really discuss it out in the open but I need to pull myself together. :(

Still haven't got back to grips with the finances either. :o

Jwil, glad to see you are keeping well and what fabulous sales you've achieved lately! I am seriously impressed.

Be back in another few days when I've got my head together.

Hope everything's ok peaceandfreedom and sorts itself out soon. Shout if you want anything. Take care of yourself.

My finances are completely screwy at the moment too.

I've just put in my request for maternity leave. I've requested the whole year, but the reality is, I'll be going back once SMP kicks in. Now just got to try and win the lottery so things get easier!

I'm 24 weeks tomorrow - technically the baby will be viable and they would try and save him should I go into early labour. That's very scary  It makes it a lot more real.

    Thanks Brizzle :)

I've sold a book today and had a non payer pay up so I'll have something to add when I've sorted postage.

  • Well done on the ebay sales :D

Wow 24 weeks already seems to have flown by!

    Have a nice weekend x
  • Hi all, just popping my head round the corner. It's been a tough couple of weeks and finances have gone through the roof. My OH fell down the stairs (literally top to bottom) in the middle of the night. He's so lucky to have got a way with just being battered, bruised with some cracked ribs. He had a bump on the back of his head the size of an ostrich egg (CT scan didn't show any serious injury) but he has been poorly. Time off of work hasn't helped as he doesn't get sick pay just SSP. It could have been worse.

Good to see those sales on Eb*y going well. I've a few bits to sell and really must try and get them listed. Apart from some low item stuff there's a camera, scanner, sewing machine so hopefully they'll fetch a few bob.

Will try not to leave it so long before I pop in again. Have a good weekend everyone
