LAM - if you have a link I could use so you get some credit on SB, please would you pm me. One day when I am feeling tenacious, I will have a go.
Jwil - Hope you are enjoying time with your visitors.
DDFW - happy decluttering!
I sold a BIN item I had on Ebay and cleared £77 profit - hurray. Had a small sale on Amazon so £3 profit on that. And then I've received £46 from MSing. So my new total is £260. There are 5 days to go but I think I'll be struggling on the last £40.
Have a great weekend everyone. It's even supposed to be nice and sunny tomorrow!Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Hey everyone. Sorry for the absence but having a hard time at the moment so not felt up to posting much.
I've had another £50-ish of sales :T so declaring for the challenge at £275. Not likely to get anything else in today.
So that's £275/£300 = £25 to go.
How did everyone else do? I'm going to do the same next month and hope I get some energy to get some new stuff on ebay."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Sorry to hear things are not great Jwil x
I made my £300 but then been on slack mode. I emptied my penny jar and have bought a few xmas presents. I only buy small things and only for a few people. I seem to have lost motivation again.
DD will go out tomorrow and I will update my spreadsheet and see how much I can overpay on my loan. This has now been switched to a lower interest so still waiting for final payment (interest) on the older / higher rate.0 -
Really sorry to read you are having a hard time
and hope that things improve for you.
I managed another £5 from an Amazon sale and that's it for me, so I made £265 which I'm pleased with. Even if you have both beaten me.
I'll try again next month. I have a couple of items on Ebay at the moment. Lots of watchers; let's hope I get some bids over the next few days.
Best wishes to all xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Hi all
Hope we all feel more perky soon..think the onset of winter just depresses energy levels for us all a bit.

Very organised with the Xmas presents LAM :T Well done on making the £300 as well.
Glad you've managed to get a lower interest loan, it all helps.
I'm thinking of emptying my penny jar too to help get on track. I realised it's got 5ps in it too when I robbed a bit last month for the carnival, so there might be a fair amount in there!Chocforever wrote: »Really sorry to read you are having a hard timeand hope that things improve for you.

Thanks chocforeverWell done on your sales, and you weren't far behind the £300 target! Good luck for this month! Hope you get some good sales.

Hey Brizzle, I think the cold and damp does start getting to us all. It's nice and sunny out there at the moment, and it does make a difference! It's so depressing coming home in the dark at night.
Well done on the CD sales!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hi jwil,
I ended up having to pay £298 interest :eek: to finish off my high interest loan which really kills me BUT I need to move forward and now concentrate on lower interest one and get rid asap.
I had to 'borrow' the £298 from my general horse/housekeeping fund for the month so will definitely be trying to raise £300 again this month. Probably ebay as I am sick of surveys again. Need to find another money making source
Hope bump and puppy are ok - have a good weekend.0 -
Hope everyone is well! I am feeling a little more human today and the visitors have gone so it's nice to have the house back again.
I did a bit of reorganising in the house yesterday as well, so have managed to make space to move the puppy's run out of the front room (we use it when at work) which makes a huge difference to the feel of the room and gives me some space back. I've had to shift hundreds of books which were stacked on the floor to do itand so they have just been restacked somewhere else. I really do have too many books and DH bought me home a load more the other day, so they are not going down very quickly!
I'm hoping for a quieter weekend this weekend, would like to get some more stuff on ebay. Haven't seen if it's free listing this weekend, but would be nice if it was!
We sold a load for DH last weekend. He made over £1500  It was stuff he'd inherited so the money is for his savings and half is his brothers. It was extremely nervewracking with some of it which went for WAY more than we thought. It didn't help that I damaged a box of an expensive item when packing it (it is a collectable and the box is often as sought after). Luckily the person who bought it didn't mind, so that was a relief. The positive feedback is starting to roll in now as well, so we can relax a bit more. I wish I had a nice collection of stuff to sell!
Have a good weekend everyone!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Ouch! It is painful, but hopefully the savings make a difference in the long run. I'm going to be ebaying my little heart out as well this month. I'd ideally like to make around £2000 but £300 will be my target as it's more realistic that I'll get there.
I hate doing the surveys as well, but I like it when the vouchers come in so I do stick with them. I try and do them at lunchtime at work rather than when I'm at home so not wasting my 'down time' on them. I'd love to find a new moneymaking source as well"If you can dream it, you can do it".
