LAM - great news if the item has turned out to be more valuable than expected. There are no regrets if you weren't using it. And you can have the entertainment of pressing refresh lots of times to see what the latest bid is
lol :rotfl: yes I probably will be doing that on Friday. The other item now has a bid on and 7 watchers so might be a good week for ebay this week. I am about 100 points off £10 from Swgbcks so will try and get that today and I have £3 so far on my survey (the lowest you can cash in) so will see what ebay does and then decide whether to cash that in or go for a fiver0 -
Hey everyone
LAM - hope your item sells well :T
I still feel pretty rubbish sometimes, but not had any sickness for a while now :j :j
Pup is doing well, she's quiet during the night now and isn't messing overnight as well so very pleased with her. She's a mischievious little so and so though!
I've sold another book and redeemed £3 from My Survey today (does it really take 10-13 business days? I've never redeemed for Paypal before) so will add £7 to my total.
I tried listing some stuff yesterday on ebay for 24 hrs to see how they went, but no luck there so far, so shall prob relist them for longer later when they go out.
So that's £143/£300 = £157 to go."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Jwil - what sort of items do you list for 24 hours? Is it just things where there are a lot of similar items on Ebay so you need to be near the top of the listings?
Well, I have £29 to add to the pot today (£24 from mystery shopping MS and £5 cashback) so I am up to £91. The two higher value items I had on Ebay didn't sell. I need to have a think about whether to relist now or wait until nearer Xmas.
I am only counting money received in the bank towards the £300. I did another MS today and will sell the item I had to purchase. I might get the money back from that before the end of the month which would be nice.Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

I havent cashed in on mysurvey for ages (I lost interest in the survey side of things when I got obsessed with Swagbucks) but I am ready to do a £3 cash out too.

Sounds like you need to rest a bit hunny x0 -
I sold a horse rug to a friend of a friend (off FB) and so got another £35 so I have £100 to go. With tomorrows ebay sales I think it will be do-able and then I can get back to my pesky loan overpayments!
I have to start thinking about Christmas too. We dont really save for it because we dont go overboard but I still buy a small gift for OH, his mum, my mum, my son, my brother and his daughter. I did hampers last year (spent like £15 on each of them) with small practical goodies. Am thinking of something similar this year without all the 'hamper' palava - was a bit time consuming. Maybe baking cookies / other food stuff for the mums and brother.0 -
I'm only counting money to the bank too - my My Survey paypal payment will go to DH's paypal account so I took the £3 from there already
My stuff I listed on ebay for 24 hrs was just some kids stuff I had lying around the house. It wasn't anything special, I just tried it because I need the money and quicker would be good!
It didn't work anyway so I shan't bother again.
Well done on the sales though everyone! I've got a couple of bits ending today so will have a little to add later.
LAM - the pup is a Border Terrier. Very cute but a little devil dog at times!
You are very organised about Christmas, I haven't started thinking about it yet!
Anyway, my big news for the day - I won a £50 amazon voucher :T :j  I got the notification the other day but I didn't believe it as it seemed too good to be true. I received it today and have added it to my account nowI'm not counting it for the challenge as it's not being used towards the debt, but I'm still very happy!

Sorry- I didn't mean to question how you chose to allocate money to the £300 target. I just thought it might look odd to some readers that I am out MSing yet saying I don't have any money coming in!Anyway, my big news for the day - I won a £50 amazon voucher :T :j  I got the notification the other day but I didn't believe it as it seemed too good to be true. That's fab. Has it turned into a Kindle Fire yet?Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

No worries!
It hasn't turned into one yet, but it seems likely to"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
I sold a couple of items yesterday so have a small £5 to add today. It all helps!
So that's £148/£300 = £152 to go."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0
