I'm sure you've done much better on the course than you think jwil but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and send positive thoughts.
You'll have to let me know if there are any good recipes in there.
I really haven't done well. I've passed the assignment part, so just need to get 40% on the project. I keep trying to add up what I think I've done and not getting there, but we shall see. I really hope I pass as I don't want to do it again. Any positive vibes will be much appreciated

Good luck with the project. Just think, it is the last TMA, ECA etc you will see!
I finished my degree a couple of years ago and admit it was a struggle to get through that last year. Pleased I did though. And the memory of last minute TMAs and cramming for exams must be fading because I have been contemplating a MSc....

Thanks chocforeverIt's my second degree so I've been a glutton for punishment. I can't wait til it's over now though and am looking forward to a complete break.
I do want to do a masters with them, though I'm thinking that can wait a few years now, ideally when I'm debt free."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Wow jwil - you're up early
i agree with chocs - just keep thinking its the last project on this course that you'll need to do
I keep hearing about the hairy bikers but have investigated it no further - my Mr helpfully pointed out that as i don't use the recipe books i do have i may as well get rid of them  I have already reduced them down but he does have a point. Will start doing my 1 new recipe a month thing again and if i find there are any books where i only need 1 or 2 recipes from them i will copy these and put the others up for grabs
LAM - lovely to have you back - would have been even nicer if you'd brought that warm sun back with you :rotfl::rotfl: Seriously it is just pouring here not looking forward to my walk to le station in a bit  - i think the kindle fire is due to be delivered next week or so ? But i'm not getting it just then - its being squirelled away as an xmas gift for me so i'll have to wait a bit longer before i can update anyone
jwil - so sorry to hear about the ppi - really was looking forward to hearing how much you would be getting x
in my money news had a bit of a chat with my Mr about holiday spends and the result is i am going to take a little more with mei'll try not to spend the extra and that way i can just change it back but its not the cheapest place that we are going to and we'll need to pay for everything - meals, drinks, water, transport, trips etc. So my money is a bit  right now! Plus i've just opened 3 more NPBs making 5 NPBs in total :eek::eek: AND had someone message me saying the item they bought is all plucked :mad::mad: it wasn't when i sent it and can't have happened in the packaging - i just seem to be getting alot of these lately
I do ask for the item to be returned so they can't just keep it but that puts me out of pocket as well
Oh well. Hoping some of the NPBs will pay up and also hoping i sell some of the stuff i have listed *fingers crossed*. Lots to do in town today before work so have to leave earlier which is a pain but never mind. One thing i need to do is get a new diary - i use a midyear one and have been a bit lost since not replacing it. Must do that today.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
I'm a morning person DDFW. Before I came on here this morning, I'd been writing up some of my project and had walked the dog
I've posted the project now. It really is a pile of rubbishI can't see that I'll have passed it - I haven't done some of the calculations at all, and the ones I have done I'm not convinced are right. I have a mental block where it comes to maths.
So I guess I might be resitting next yearThat's annoying, but more so because it cost me £20.45 to post   Waste of money that was if I fail!
Oh well, that's that now, and there's no point in worrying any more. I'm going to pack the books away and not think about it until I hear again.
I must spend some time now getting things organised and getting my finances back on track. Need to get on with the declutter and raise the extra funds. All of which will help should I need to resit as I won't have so much to distract me which hasn't helped this year.
DDFW - the reason you mention about the cookbook is why I haven't bought the hairy bikers one - I never use them! There's no point in me wasting my money. I've started a pad which I write down recipes I like the look of in. I probably ought to do this with my cookbooks too and then just get rid of them. I haven't got loads, but enough that it would make a difference.
Where and when are you off on hols? PM if you prefer. I've got a couple of weeks off in October but we've got visitors so won't be doing a lot.
Hope some of your NPBs pay up soon. I get to close one today and I can't wait. I hope they don't pay  as they are rude. It's a pain when people complain about something you don't agree with. It's so frustrating.
Fingers crossed you get some good sales too"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Morning everyone. I'm counting down the days til payday on Friday.
Not much to report really, looking forward to getting back on track."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
What a relief your homework is done.
I cant study - dont even have time to read a book if I am not on holiday.
We have not been paid yet - used to get paid last day of the month but then over the last 4 months have been paid a week early. I like to transfer it to a different account but know that its there. Going to be a tight month in October - really need to make some extra cash - like £300 for the credit card!
Happy Hump Day all xx0 -
I need to get some extra cash in too, to get back on track. October will be the last month I need to pay that £90 to OU so I'll be better off after that. I'd like to have a little boost to clear some extra though.
Do I sniff a little challenge coming on?
Anyone want to join me in trying to raise an extra £300 in October?"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hope your feeling better xx
Great news the homeworks done0 -
