I've not had a problem with feedback yet but it seems so wrong that an buyer can say or do what they like but without the seller able to give their side. Surely Bay of E must realise that some buyers deliberately set out either to defraud (parcel not received) or just plain malicious. Rant over
May all your sales be good ones and all your buyers angels
Great news on your ebay sale. I love it when things go for more than was expected. I need a few of those now.DedicatedDFW wrote: »Hi all,
just popping in to say i have been reading when i can but it is such a faff to use my phone i don't tend to log in much - and haven't had the hugest attention span eitherStill feeling dreadful - currently my tea is in the oven as i'm trying to keep to regular healthy meals to try and build my strength back up a bit
Spurred on by the few sales last week and harried along by all the things i need to pay for this month  i did get some stuff on the bay of e - not as much as i wanted to. Then of course the problems started with what i'd soldFor the first time in a long while i am thinking of leaving someone negative feedback  i have never done this before but am just so frustrated by selling an item in good faith and then being told i'd put the wrong details - when i hadn't  i figure they've just changed their mind but what can you do ? - except leave the feedback ?
Well done on all your listings jwil !! You got loads done! Hope the sales come along nicely for you toSorry to hear you are still having days where you are poorly - hope you feel lots better soon x When do we find out if you are expecting a little jwil or mr jwil ?
LAM - have a fab hols hon and *fingers crossed* MOT is fine and that the horse stuff you are selling goes well for you x
retiredandskint - Huge congrats on your fab bay of e sale and good luck when you list the other items too x
jwil - it tends to get worse before it gets better - things are moving in the right direction with stuff being cleared
DDFW - how are you feeling now?0 -
Retired - well done on your sale :T :T Good idea to send it tracked too, it's not worth the hassle otherwise.
LAM - to huge car bills, it's such a pain isn't it! Glad you are all sorted for your holiday though!
I'm not too bad thanks, was feeling very well today until baby decided that they didn't want chili for lunch about 5 minutes after I'd eaten it
Back to work tomorrowShort day though as I've got a funeral to attend
. I haven't achieved a lot this time off, I'm a bit disappointed really.
Hope you are feeling better DDFW."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Oh I forgot, I've been swooning over the Kindle Fire. They've finally announced the release date and it's cheap as chips (relatively speaking). :j Going to see what the reviews are like (they've been good in the US) but am going to save my amazon vouchers and ask DH to contribute for my xmas pressie I think"If you can dream it, you can do it". I've had a couple more sales on ebay so what with that and the withdrawal I did the other day, that's another £50 to add to the total.
£114/£485 = £371 to go
Very moving afternoon today, but a drive up the coast and chippy tea was good afterwards
I have listed a couple of bits on ebay this evening too so happy there.
Hope everyone is well"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Have a great holiday LAM, and hope you gets lots of reading done."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
I'm feeling human today :T :T :T :T Fingers crossed it lasts.
I've made the decision to let some stuff go, so I've got a whole new load of bits to be ebayed. I was keeping it to sell gradually, but I figure I could really do with the money now to bring my outgoings down. I've still got plenty of stuff I can sell otherwise so it's not like there will be nothing left.
I'm also trying to get the message over to DH that it's time we got our house back. Many of these boxes have been sitting around for up to 4 years now. We haven't needed whatevers in them in that time, so we can obviously survive without it. Fingers crossed he'll get the message.
The plan for this weekend is some booting if the weather's good. Maybe some listing as well, and I need to spend some time on OU.
Hope everyone is well"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hi all,
jwil - sorry i have not been around much lately - other than feeling ill for quite a few weeks now i got pretty upset over things this weekend and was not even company for myself
Well Done! on the sales - have you had many more ? And good for you deciding to get rid of more things - it all helpsI keep making decisions on stuff now but in drips and drabs so not like i have a whole drawer / box / cupboard of things i decide to let go but just odd bits here and there
Hows it going in persuading mr jwil to let some things go to ? It is always harder getting someone else to that point even if the logic is there like you say - if its not been needed for 4 years will it ever be needed ?
I had some sales on the bay of e but also had to start 2 NPBs  I don't think i'll see a penny in debt reduction this month apart from the mortgage overpayment i have already paid. All my extras are going towards my holiday spends. The car tax was more than i thought as was the mortgage overpayment (i rounded it up). I am still a fair way short on the spending money target
Hope that you continued with the feeling well feeling if you know what i mean ?
Retired and skint - you'll have to let us know how you get on with the other cameras that you are selling :T
Oh and erm... the kindle fire... i may not understand all that it does but i may have one on orderi knew those vouchers would come in handy

Oooh DDFW, you'll have to let me know what you think of the kindle fire.
Sorry to hear you've been rough. I've been ill again the last couple of days, it's very annoying.
We did 2 car boots this weekend, and cleared quite a lot of stuff so that was good.
I had a good sale this weekend, something sold for a lot more than expected :T I'll be nervous until I know all is ok, but fingers crossed. Annoyingly though I need to use the money rather than pay it off debts, so that's a shame."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
