Sorry, I'm snowed under at the moment, trying to get my OU project done. Reading still, but will catch up properly next week probably.
Hope everyone is well

Oh yes, my PPI claim got rejected
I wasn't expecting anything anyway and I can't appeal it, so that's that done. Shame though.

Oh I've so had enough of this project. I'm really struggling with it and just don't get it. I just want to finish and get it posted.
It's a really tough course anyway, and some people are on their third attempt at passing it  It's nice to know that it's not just me, but I really hope I scrape a pass.
I was relieved though to find out that a resit will be possible should I fail, as I wasn't sure due to the fact that it's the last presentation of the course. I'd rather scrape a pass though as I'm not going to be in any better situation to redo it next year with a small baby!
Aside from that, I did have a little break earlier and got a few bits on ebay which I'd promised to do for DH. I did my relists yesterday and a couple of new items as well so that's something."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Shame about the PPI claim this would have been a good time for some extra cash
Are you able to put off the course for a while to be fair you haven't been feeling too good and to have to study on top of that has obviously been too much.
Me, I've had my ups and downs I've been diagnosed with ulcers, which could explain my anemia, but the meds are making me feel rotten but needs must and all that. I've only listed a couple of bits on Bay of E and tbh they're relists.
Hope everyone is ok.0 -
Hi everyone,
I am back in cold windy rainy UK - quite a shock to the system after a week of lazing in the sun by the pool
Jwil - bad news about the PPI was hoping something would come of that for you.
DDFW - how is the kindle fire - I finally got to read all my freebie books on my kindle. Back to usual hectic lifestyle now though and probably be too tired to read.
Retired - sorry to hear you arent feeling well. Makes you feel even more gloomy in this weather doesnt it.
Well with the horrible weather the horses are coming in tonight so I will need to make up their beds and sort them out. Will help with the weightloss as I expect I have put back on some of the precious pounds I lost in the run up to the holiday. I have bought the Hairy Bikers Diet book off amazon with some of my swagbucks vouchers so need to get my weight sorted now.
Want to get back to chipping away at my loan but I had to put the car hire fuel which they make you pay up front for 88 euros and then we probably only used about 10 euros worth of fuel - in fact the guage barely moved! I have also put half my car repairs on the credit card and going to see how much I can pay off or will have to dip into my emergency savings to pay it off.
Hope the week is a good one for you all x0 -

Sorry to hear you've not been well retired. I hope the meds start working soon and you stop feeling rough soon. Hope your ebay sales do well. Most of mine were relists too this weekend.
It's a shame about the ppi but I didn't expect it anyway.
Sadly I can't put off the course any more, it's the last presentation this year so now or never. I could have done without it anyway even without the pregnancy, but I had to do it to complete my degree.
I've got to post the project tomorrow, so it will be over then, and I've just got to hope I scrape a pass as I won't be able to do any better next year."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Ooh, I liked the hairy bikers series, and the book looked good too, let me know what you think.
Glad you had a good holiday, shame about the fuel spends though. Good luck with paying off the car repairs as well."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
I've bought the Hairy Bikers Diet book as well with my birthday Amazon vouchers. I can't wait for it to arrive :T
I'm sure you've done much better on the course than you think jwil but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and send positive thoughts.0
