Hi Lam - Yes holibobs on the horizon but everything is so tight moneywise because of the extra spends i've needed to take
i'll *try* to bring it back
Sounds like you are getting all organised on the moneymaking front and i think the horse rugs and things usually sell pretty well so fingers crossed you get that car bill paid off soon
jwil ((hugs)) I know how tough it is and i'll try and focus on some positives for you - first of all i don't think you are in the same position as you were at the start of the year. i don't know how your debt is broken down but i think you have a loan as well as credit cards ? So by the end of this year you'll be another year forwards on paying off the loan :T So this is reducing all the time for you - unlike the pesky credit cards that have no end date as it were. The other thing is you are consciously trying to pay the debt off. i know before i started my first thread on here that i knew i wanted to pay the debt off but my income at that time wasn't even covering my mortgage let alone anything elseso i was also servicing the debt for a while. Now we know we want to get these bills cleared and we make decisions every day to work towards that. I know before i'd want to clear the debt but have no clear idea of how to do it, what my money was going on etc. but now we are in working from a position of knowledge on these things. - As i say just trying to see some positives because i know how rubbish it is paying out this money all the time and not seeing any great headway with things.
This october challenge will be good for all of us - we could even try and keep it up each month until the end of the year :eek:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Thanks DDFW, you are right that the loans have gone down, so that's good, it's just the CCs have gone up so that's not. It will all get sorted eventually!
I've had another small ebay sale and withdrawn £5 from topcashback (thought I'd better get the cash rather than the amazon voucher) so I've got another £7 to add.
I'm off to work now, but hope to get some stuff sorted for ebay later.
Have a good day everyone!
So that's £22/£300 = £278 to go."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Back from work now thankfully, but am shattered and don't feel like doing anything.
I'll have a bit of a rest and hopefully will pick up a bit!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey everyone, snowed under at work, so haven't had a lot of time.
I've had some more ebay sales, so that's another £22 to add to my target. I re-sold the item that I had the NPB for last week, and got an extra £3 so very happy with that :j
So that's £44/£300 = £256 to go.
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
My loan's come out today, so that's another £324 paid."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
