I've been lurking for a while. Very inspired by you all. Been off sick for several weeks and really need to at least start to tackle the house before Christmas. Will try to do level 1 this week, with main focus on kitchen and LR - not been habitable in recent memory
Very envious of all you folks who got up early - only woke at 1:30 pm, and I'm still exhausted. Will focus the energy on getting started and try to post now and again. Thanks for the lists and the positive words.0 -
Very heavily medicated (injured shoulder) this week.
Two gigs. Should be 3, but CBA with Saturday's.
Three Minion shows, each requiring full spotless uniform.
House to clean.
Decorations to recover from loft.
Cats to vaccinate.
[STRIKE]
Steriod injection to sort. Steroid to order from chemist. Appointment to book for injection.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]
Flu jab to sort. Get done in glute, not arm due to gigs & sore arms not good mix.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]
WM
TD
DW[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sink to clean.

Convince KH that Minion should be here for Christmas where she wants to be, not at his where she can observe his relationship fall apart, loads of screaming at the stepbrother and have the SM scream at her  like she did this weekend. Plus point out that it is my job to yell at Minion, not hers, her job is to screech at her own child (which she is apparently very proficient in doing) - although if she wants to have someone to throw her weight around at, she could try it with me instead and see how far she gets.
Medication to sleep off. (1-3pm, today )
And somewhere along the way, Minion has remembered I used to iron her bedlinen and is trying to convince me that this would be a productive thing to do with my time now I only have two presents to get and a bunch of wrapping to do. (And that is shockingly well prepared for me!). She's going to have to take on a couple of jobs for me if that's what she wants.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Hi all
Thanks Dusty for this weeks thread.
So far today
WM x 2
Swept kitchen floor
Cleaned cat litter tray
Brief dusting in LR (to be continued when I get home)
Away this weekend (weather permitting) so really need to get myself organised.
This week:
Wrap last remaining Christmas presents
Write & send last remaining Christmas cards (get stamps)
Decant Sloe gin into bottles
Ice Christmas cakes (3 are gifts to take this weekend)
Continue making Christmas decorations (knitting some very cute mini stockings atm)
Clear Ironing basket
Get Christmas tree (need to make up my mind whether to get a real or fake one)
Will post Monday's list later when I get home.
Weather here is very cold today, I can't get warm. Doesn't help that the only heating source at work is a plug in heater, with a cord that doesn't allow the heater to come round to my side of the desk. Oh well.
Hope you all had a good weekend
Good luck Seafarers look forward to the pictures (will ignore my broodiness)

Welcome to the thread Rosetta92 - level 1 is a good place to start, don't try and do too much especially if you've been ill. Believe me, I didn't wake up at silly o'clock by choice - I don't do mornings but it keeps happening so now I just get up and get on....grrrrrr!;)0

Most of todays list done, Kitchen and dining room (aka conservatory) habitable again, and in-law passable... apart from the table which isn't worth polishing and is covered by a disposable cloth  will clear it and wipe the crumbs off. Going to do a 20 min S&S in the LR before the Timmy Time Christmas special is on Cbeebies at 4.30, then watch that with the DS's and fold some laundry. So, there are these boys,
