Welcome home returners and hello lurkers, please post we'd love more members!

Busy getting nowhere as DS1 came home at break needing a massive amount of stuff to take in for school play props. I then drove him back with it all and went into town.

Just going to have a cuppa and then hope to do an hour's flying before DS2&3 get home for the day.

What did we do before the internet and google? I have been sitting here playing about with figures on spreadsheets and trying to price match our energy tariffs. Just being nosey while I try and save us money on our gas as we seem to use A LOT, what usage do most of you have on gas? I know it depends on house size, style etc but we seem to be using it a lot...although it may help now the timer is set properly!!!

    Afternoon all

Hope all goes well for you Seafarer's wife :)

Kitchen/diner done, I was up early this morning because I was suddenly wide awake so I had a batch of mince pies made by 7 am. I also marzipanned the Christmas cake. DS turned up unexpectedly so he took me to Morrisons where I used my vouchers to get a small beef joint which has gone in the freezer.

Going to finish catching up now.

I'll second what dusty said - welcome back to those who drifted and hello  to the lurkers....come and join us, we don't bite (much!):D.

    List finished.
    Dog walked (again).
Going to sit down for 15 mins before DS gets home and then sort out some gift vouchers for a client, pick up DD from afterschool sports and take DS to his afterschool activity.

Then i'm done - unless I'm brave enough to go to tesco to return gloves that I bought for DS yesterday but the lining is ripped. Not sure i'm brave enough though!

The only gas we have is the hob, which for the last couple of years has cost the grand sum of £5 per month, with price increases I think now it's £8-10 per month max. Sorry not much help if you are looking at heating prices but I do know that gas hobs are very cheap :p
