    Had a good weekend, the DD's both went to their Uncle & Auntie's and where taken to see a panto. It was their little boy's first time and they all had a great time.
    I did some wrapping and pottered about. I had to pick DD1's dad up after his day out to France with the company he works for and then take him back on the Sunday to pick his car up.
    We then went Christmas shopping together, we got the DDs new telly and I helped him choose stuff for his family.
    I now have the joy of wrapping said presents :cool: I don't mind really, I actually like wrapping :)

    Monday - kitchen and dining room
    level one

    Sweep and mop the floor
    Remove all kitchen/dining room hotspots into an empty box
    Level Two
    Wipe the work surfaces
    Wipe out the fridge and meal plan using up what’s in there
    15 minutes wiping anything that is grubby
    Level three
    Clean the kitchen sink
    Empty and clean out your bins
    Polish the table

    Extras
    DW/MW filters and drawers – do you have enough powder/salt etc to last over Christmas?
    Polish the table
    Put away appliances not being used to make space for Christmas cooking

    OH is away visiting DD and delivering xmas pressies so thats one huge batch of gifts wrapped and gone *phew*

    i had the weekend of work to use up my holidays before the end of the year so i did loads off this list yesterday! must be psychic lol.

    i did this yesterday while i was watching the x-factor lol and done my xmas shopping online this morning already. go me!

    All organised then make something for the freezer for the New Year

    Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs, downstair loo
    Level 1

    [STRIKE]Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/STRIKE]
    Dust or wipe any surfaces you can
    Level 2
    [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE]
    Make sure all toys have a home, can any be put away for a while or sort a drawer
    Level 3
    Remove all hotspots into the box you started yesterday
    Clean your dirtiest window
    [STRIKE]Can you recycle any newspapers/Christmas magazines etc[/STRIKE]
    the council have just changed us from green bin for cardboard/blue bag for paper/blue box for glass and metal to a BLUE BIN FOR ALL THAT PLUS PLASTIC :eek: i have a huge backlog of paper and card that wont fit in the caddy in the top of the bin. but it is in a neat pile ready to be composted/burned/thrown at bin men :mad: sorry rant over :o

    Extras

    Wax any furniture that needs it

    Do a small job which you have been putting off

    Clear and Hoover floor
    Wipe all dusty areas with a damp cloth
    Deal with outstanding post, bills, emails
    Level 3
    Wipe computer keyboard and mouse, clean the screen
    [STRIKE]If you have been putting all your hotspots into a box/pile now is the time to deal with them[/STRIKE]

    Extras:
    [STRIKE]Write a few more Christmas cards[/STRIKE]
    Update your address book
    Delete unwanted numbers from your mobile or house phone.
    Polish your silver/brass


    Thursday – Bathroom and Landing
    Level 1

    [STRIKE]Remove anything from these areas which doesn’t belong here[/STRIKE]
    Is it time for a new toothbrush? Especially important if you have been unwell
    Level 2
    [STRIKE]Clean baths, sinks and toilets[/STRIKE]
    Clean the floors right into the corners
    Level 3
    Clean the shower screen or wash the curtain
    [STRIKE]Throw away anything old and yucky[/STRIKE]
    Wipe window ledges and dusty areas

    Extras:
    Use vinegar to descale around taps and plugs
    Degunk the drains with soda crystals and hot water
    [STRIKE]Check supplies of soap, shampoo etc to last over Christmas[/STRIKE]

    I have been a very busy bee this morning. I have

    done today's list apart from the floor
    Finally programmed the heating controls...we have been here 4 months :o
    Made an inventory of everything in the litchen and am part way through making a spreadsheet
    Rung EHIC to change my surname and address
    Taken meter readings - just need to email through

    Inventory done and meter readings have been emailed, we now owe them money but I am hoping now I have changed the times it is on we may save some money!

    Now I need to work out how to meal plan with my food inventory while having a cuppa.
