  • Hey up all
Yesterday kinda got taken over by work and post event madness (eek - KK hadn't realised it was on the website of the paper) thankfully the tv bit with me babbling on has been cut but the rest of it was absolutely put on dunno when though - maybe today?

I'm perky - more work meetings this am - funding application to get in.

Booked OH and me a lovely dinner tonight at a local hotel as a treat as he's really been holding the fort.

Aside that not very much going on. Aside the chaos that is my life - didn't collect the eggs yesterday - gadzooks I bet they are sitting on a mountian of eggs - better dash out now.

Had to leave early to get car to garage which then they cancelled - argh, but had combined several things in town so not a biggie.

    Hope you're all grand

Trog your parcel box is just an 'ongoing' delight :)

  • Hey up Pippi - the TV edit is a shame! You sounded great on the Radio interview though - very media savvy and your passion shone through.

Tell me, was it as cold as it looked on the picture of you and the team outside the HP distillery?

    Hey up! I'm great ta.

You sound - in the interview - passionate, professional and proud of the produce of the Isle 'O Flowers. And your keeness to share the knowledge, skills and location of the food/producers and retailers to residents and visitors alike is evident in your piece.

I want to sign up for Bob's Bere Bannock making course straight away!!! And sample his tomatoes come summer :rotfl:

I reckon folks that are ribbing you are actually delighted that you did so well, and know full well they'd not step in front of a microphone themselves! Go pippi :T

PS Hope I spelt 'Bere' as in Beremeal correctly!!!!

i've decided that i'm tired of being a grumpy mare, and i've had a lot of practice being grumpy of late, it's just so tiring though. Starnac i'm sure we'd feel much better with a hug from a little baby, hint hint lol

  • Morning all

I'm here and pj'd - office open lol home working sometimes is great isn't it?

    I need a cuppa

I need to write a list

And, I need to make a plan for today - the peedie dog isn't very well. Gurgling tummy, I don't even want to ask him what he might have ate.

I'll take all your comfort from the interview - I can't listen to it - makes me feel sick, if you lot reckon I did OK then I'll bow to that judgement and think 'phew'. Bad enough seeing my photo in the paper.

Greying bere was indeed spelt correctly - its a very old land race barley native to this region, makes a fine bannock. And, his tomatoes are to die for - it was his polytunnel course I did in the winter.

KC - the hens delivered 24 eggs to me yesterday - whoops it may have been a day or two since I ventured in their cosy byre. Teetering was almost correct!

The weather here is mixed - between minging days and the odd glimmer of something awesome - my mood is alternating between great and ergh. I sympathise with you all.

The tunnel cover is indeed home, be a while before we can do much with it, we need a warm still day - but nevertheless progress is being made.

:) now time for a kettle and a list making exercise........

I'll pop on some toast if anyone's interested, home made elderberry jelly...........or some of cheery's marmalade?

I thought it was you!!!! How lovely to see you again - metaphorically speaking that is...

You are just as lovely as ever, never change. Clothes permitted, naturally.

Yes, the Captain is still with me, as opinionated as ever. Once I get going again I'll start up another diary and bring him in with some of his opinions. In fact I'm currently writing a book about him, mind you, the speed I'm going at it'll never get anywhere!

    Love to you as always
