Ooh, hope they hurry up, KK! Your afternoon sounds lovely2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
It was thank you KC, we loved the film (saw it at the local fleapit in the town between you and me) and then went to a restaurant for dinner. As I was using an unexpected £17 credit on my credit card and a local discount at the restaurant, the afternoon was quite cheapy0

Hi everyone.just had a quick "lurk" and I'd like to ask if I too may join in? Polytunnels and hens sound right up my street.0

My, you have been busy Pippi! Caught up with the TV, radio and paper reports...making me homesick for the Isles again. Good to see Howie is still going, he has a wonderful voice. Used listen to him every morning beforere heading off to school...that was some tme ago now!
All this talk of bere meal has inspired me to make some bere bannocks tomorrow. Still have some meal left from our trip to see you last year Pippi...haven't made any for a bit, so looking forward to having some warm with butter tomorrow....oooh not sure I can wait!
Glad you are feeling much better KK, but do still remember to take things easy.:mad: to your financial advisor...what a twonk! (love using this word!) Hope things get sorted soon and you move at the end of the month...only 2 weeks away!
Date I ask how your move is doing LT?
Been busy sewing (fun) and website-sorting (work) the past few days, good to mix the two, getting somewhere at last with both!!
Need to get some Valentine sewing done tonight while DH is out, hope it turns out OK.
Have a good evening and Sunday everyone x

The most annoying thing about the latest hiccup is that I thought that this might be a problem, and raised it with him and my solicitor over a month ago and they both fobbed me off saying it was the other's responsibility, and neither of them would talk to me about it or do anything constructive. I called the bank myself on Thursday and discovered that it is probably even more of a problem than I was anticipating, hence the new mortgage application!!
Ho hum. Anyway, in the meantime, I'm going to plod on with the packing0 -
Hi pippi been missing in action. What with having my mum here and the boys on their summer holidays it has been a bit frantic and stressful. Glad to see that paid work is agreeing with your bank accounts. Long may it continue!
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

A balmy no wind and 7 degrees here yesterday - bliss - I worked in a fleece (and trousers of course) and didn't put my coat on all day :T managed to sell 4 more compost bins (hurrah, only 140 to go, we had a large donation in of new compost bins last weekend!)oldtractor wrote: »Hi everyone.just had a quick "lurk" and I'd like to ask if I too may join in? No need to ask, pop by anytime to fancy - to the chickens and the polytunnel we can add one peedie dog, a couple of barn cats or maybe three and a couple of teenagers and the occasional visit from our own personal rock star OH.
As long as you don't mind chaos and dust - I'm sure we can find anohter cup there in the back of the kitchen.:A WelcomeTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

chevyou're absolutely allowed to be MIA - I've been mostly MIA due to being sick and working like a beast. I think I still have children here, somewhere...................
nice to see you!
KK - argh gadzooks lady - what a
lot you've got on your plate! I hope the decluttering is going well, even if its 'thought out and methodical' not lazy:rotfl:
Keiss - what a week! I'm glad I don't work in PR - I'd have to brush my hair more than once a year. Most upset I managed to get a photo in the press and the one wearing the wellies wasn't me! I'm glad you're good. We're holding a sewing machine workshop soon - we've just been donated one from our other recycling charity here
I need to get a 'pod' of folk together to help me make recycled bags - like these:
http://www.morsbags.com/
We have a volunteer who's made a few, but I'm trying to get us a 'stock' of them together by holding fun evening workshops and things...........
Be ace if you could live up hereI could come over and stitch a few while we natter.
Hope the family are well??
I tasted the new whisky last night - very nice - had a hoot thinking what we could smell/taste in it.
I'm also booked on a bere bannock making course soon :T which I'm very excited about - we visited the mill last week and got given bags of different flours and a recipe book and it was really interesting - I was so chuffed they came to the slow food launch. Even more chuffed my tv bit got cut - I was a bumbling idiot - lets not put folk OFF slow food(thank you for joining our page on fb

Now, the plan for today - a bit dfwannabe ish and a bit pottery.
Route through the freezer and do a bit of meal planning, which sucks but I know it works so I'll do it anyway.
Route through fridge and make sure if anything is being a turncoat in the food department I can make sure we eat it before it expires
HC to do
Bedroom to clear up (napalm?) - this will increase the HC load
Walk el mutto down the track to the beach and conscript the children into their compulsary walk with their mother
Make some grub - always counteracts the grumpiness of the meal planning. (I just don't like thinking of meal planning, but I do like cooking)
Feed hens later (again) collect eggs and then rebed them - do a bit in their run to save them needing wellies in our soggy lands.
Stroke the wrapped up new polytunnel cover and talk to it nicely
Work a plan of action for the week
******think about seeds********
Make a plan of when to start the gardening class again, tis nearly that time of year
Make a plan of how to teach *soft* landscaping to a bunch of young farmers at the college (and hunt out tools and sharpen my wit for when the mess about)
Wrap up a few errant parcels
Baked brownies last night ot take to chums, have half a box of them, but make some other baking delights to save buying biscuits etc for the kids
Take milk and bread out the freezer
Do a bit out in the garden as its sunny and still and not a force 9 gale
Think that will do for nowTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

KK hope you get everything sorted regarding your finances, sorry your Financial advisor has messed up. No wonder they say house moving is so stressfull. I don't think i really needs to be if the 'professionals' in the process just did their jobs well and took responsibility for their bits.
Thanks for asking about our move Keiss, we're still watching this space, i've given the solicitor a message about some time we have off which we really want to move during, but there's nothing confirmed as yet.0
