morning all. Just had a quick catch up.

Keiss well done for selling your Tuesday scarf.

    LT when you moving now??

been sorting through boxes here. The spare room is full of them and we need to get it sorted and emptied. We've been thinking about getting DS baptised and have a rough idea of the same weekend as my birthday (i'm having a party so one trip down for friends and in laws) so need to get it sorted so we can offer accomodation :)

what's everyone else up to this horrible and wet tuesday??

Morning all. DDFW very exciting with the chicken plans. Fay, slowly does it today. Get well soon.

  • Starnac that sounds exciting, very exciting!

MrsM - I'm trying, three work calls today already and I'm over at our site for an unexpected but lovely donation. I'll get a balance, to be fair they wanted to drop off on Friday but I've blocked that out as my day off.

I'm finding this juggling hours thing fun, but unsettling. I'm sure it will settle soon.

Didn't get banks done! Maybe later, hair appointment at 2, car needs go into a garage again as its still leaking oil. And, until it stops I'm not paying the bill. As I'm gong into town I'm dropping off a few goods o buyers on the way in, saves petrol, and keeps life a bit more simple.

Hope you're all splendid, just sitting quiet with my tea
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

yay to having hair done and combining trips into town. I know the hair appt isn't MSE but I recently had my hair all cut off and I love it. I feel so much better about myself now my hair looks lush (even if I do say so myself :D ) so it is definately worth it.

It is exciting Pippi. I've been um-ing and ah-ing for a while bout whether to have a party for my birthday but I decided I'm only going to be 29+1 once so stuff it I'm having a party. Just need to find the fabric I see in my head to make my outfit (and find a venue and make invites and hope people actually come :o ) I just know my in laws won't come down twice (they haven't been down once in the 3 years we've lived here) so this way if we have the baby baptised the same weekend then it'll be win win.

Pippi - hope you feel much better soon - and Woo! :j To hair appointment - to me it always feels like a treat :D are you having a new style?

Starnac - i agree the party does sound great fun and how nice of you to work out a double celebration so family & friends don't have to make (a presumably?) big trip twice :)

Thank you MrsMoo - i am very excited about chicks:j But we do need to get a bit of work done first - namely some fencing up - as nice as the neighbours are there have been a few occasions where i've looked out of the window to see someone in the garden  OH also wants a shed - the money for these 2 things will come out from *positive vibes my way please people* the sale of my car - just got it listed now and really, really hope it sells! Will use £1000 of it towards my debt and then new fence, shed (not got one just yet) and chickens :T

Hope everyone has a nice day x

Hello All, just popping by. My dog has just had her puppies. 6 of them!

  • Hi all :hello:

    KC - look after yourself!!

Uni - aaww - puppies, how cute!

    Pippi - I know your DD is a talented cellist, does she like listening to programmes about cellists/cello music? Just caught half of a dollop of information that Sean Rafferty was giving out just now, anyway, looked for it in the programme listings magazine and this is what he was on about;

The Cellists that Time Forgot; Cellist Julian Lloyd Webber introduces rare and seldom heard recordings by - Felix Salmond, Milos Sadlo, Antonio Janigro and Leonard Rose - unsung heroes of the cello world and asks why their work isn't better known. Radio 3 Saturday 28th Jan 12.15pm - 1.00pm

Jules is talking to some 'experts', so I hope it isn't too dry and stuffy and highlights some of the music/performances too - all of them were alive in the 20th Century, so there is scope for radio/record recordings.

Better go, my tea is calling.
