Oh how I love this site - I'm trying to find out what to do with vhs video tapes - and the answer popped up on a forum on here with lots of accurate information and helpful advice.
Why am I not surprised.

I have to admit that we trundled ours down to the hospice Mr LT used to work in as they could sell them there.
KK ours is a first time buyer as well, maybe there's something specific to them, i know i wasn't this awkward when i bought my place. We're hoping to be in mid Feb now but i can see it slipping again.0 -
There's often a stall at one of our local markets which sells bags made out of woven old video tapes. .bit like these ones http://menmedia.co.uk/glossopadvertiser/news/s/1425938_recycled-fashion-weaver-has-it-taped-turning-videos-into-bagsDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Even the estate agent is getting fed up with my buyers now, and so far I've felt like they've been on the buyers' rather than my 'side', so she's going to come over when the surveyor is here tomorrow (and I'll be here too!). I dream of having an exchange date!0

Bless your DD KK wanting to share her birthday with the house. I hope she gets her wish (for your sake too).
Videos made into bags. I like that idea. Might have to check out any craft fairs when we visit the inlaws next to see if shes got a stallGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

She's planning a massive party at the forever home with all her friends and their parents (most of whom are my friends too) with home-made bunting and cheesey biscuits (we have to make lots as we like them a lot and will probably eat most of them for breakfast) and, and, and.....it'll be a blast0

Aw KK that sounds fab. We will all pop in for virtual cheesy biscuits when you finally move
