Thank you DDFW - what a lot of fun we had. I live in the land of the squeaky cheese when I was very small so lovely to go back and see it all again - so many familiar things!

Ok a list of probably epic proprotions for today and the week or so.
Whole house needs cleaned - was 'lightly cleaned/tidied before the off rather than my manic mental 'the house needs to be surgically clean' stress that normally accompanies a trip 'sooth' - so I'm having to do that now priorities for this week are:
Bathrooms x 2 upstairs loo seems to be not flushing....?
Utility room
Kitchen
Living room
Stairs
My room
Organised fridge last night - need look at freezers and cupboards to empty those a bit.
Meal plan if I can or at least know what I need
Organise cleaning stuff - think I need washing powder but given my squirrelling stashing abilities we might have some - so I need to find the 'stashes' and fathom what I need
Clear out at least one drawer/cupboard/box and put stuff away/recycling or charity shop/dump.
Garden'/Byres need some work
Look and think about what to prioritise first
Fed hens - collect eggs later
Cut grass here and at clients later
Start and give Darwin a wee drive
Tidy up some of it and bag stuff for the dump if needed.
Money
Do banks and cc's - read the letter from one bank properly, I think it says my OD will cost me £25 a month from 2nd Oct must see how much it costs now (I think £5 + interest on a 'planned OD' - which is about £15 a month NOT £25) - if its the case make a plan to get rid of this pronto but keep the facility if I need it (free in credit)
Look at or phone WTFC folk to find out about my updated claim - its changing and I'd like to know what amazingly far fetched figure they come up with so I can plan
Get DS to check SAAS for progress on his claim. Nothing in the post to say they need more information...........fingers crossed.
Make a 2 year plan for money as moving to move in with OH in 2 years and need a plan for clearing debts before leave to make sure if I'm not workign initially I'm not a drain on myself - try and save a bit for a cushion.
- I've just bought a new car (!) which will be fully paid before leaving so that's a start on the 'new life' bit - that was the plan for that to make sure I had a reliable car for 'south' which had been fully paid.
Text lady about the new house and make a firm plan for leasing it
Once sorted phone landlord here and get the water heater/plumbing issues fixed
Organise carpet to be relaid - text pal about guys they used.
OK I'll not manage all of that today but its a start to the 5 week plan of filling up the time for kids being away for the summerTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there. :beer:

Hello!
One of my more 'moderate lists'
Nice to see you hows the new house shaped up? And, hows DD, OH and that gammy leg of yours?

Hey up lady lu - how the spoggies?
Um a list indeed - kids gone til 20th August - bah humbug - so need get a lot done and not feel sorry for myself - DD 16 on fridayand I'll miss her so trying to keep busy.
Vague life plan - yup DD finishes 6th Year in June 2014 so movign 'sooth' to OH's life - probably somewhere new together. He's thinking about his work and where he wants to be based (probably central Scotland) - and I'll need to think about work and how to make sure I find something.
DS leaves home in September for Uni - my job here is nearly done - we only moved here for school/lifestyle we could'nt afford south - so once they've done that - I'm *gulp* moving down nearer everyone.
So - I probably need a new diary and a new focus - 2 years won't take long - and I need to be debt free and find a way forward to do it. That way I can maybe have a bit of a breather once down to find work/self employed something or other.
So - bought a new ECO car last week (new to me, great deal) - will cut down running costs for zipping about here and only £30 tax - taken a loan at 5% over 2 years to have that paid before I go.
Moving into a much smaller house in the next couple months - less rent by £100 a month and on bus routes for DD - save there too.
OH looking at finishing his flat and getting it on the market maybe next year - then we can look at getting somewhere together in summer 2014 after DD finishes school and gets her university applications sorted.

My updates
The house is still a building site but it is now safe after the rewiring and its blissful not to have workmen in anymore;
OH and I........mmm, we don't seem to be communicating that well at the moment, I've been finding him very hard-going and irritating and not sure if its him or me yadda yadda yadda, I think we just need a night out on our own without DD and see how we get on;
I'm completely and utterly skint so the house is going to stay like it is for a looooong time;
I think my job is at risk of redundancy in the very near future, will find out next month;
DD is the most gorgeous, wonderful, lovely, cheeky, clever, funny, kind, caring etc etc cherub as always;
my gammy leg is, to paraphrase the latest consultant I saw last week "completely b*ggered" and he told me to make the most of the time I have left!! so, on the good days, I do (had a fab disco in the sitting room with DD the other night, she made certificates for the best dancer and everything!) and on the bad days I scowl, drop painkillers like they're going out of fashion (no longer do I have the holistic, healthy approach, just give me the drugs!) and hobble around swearing under my breath
;
but even with all that, things are pretty darned good , I have tons of great things in my life and am trying my best to be chilled out about what the future might hold, job-wise. No point getting too stressed about it when there's beggar all I can do to change what will or won't happen next month!0 -
Aw have a hug and a trophey for best dancer and hopefully you can organise a night in/out with OH soon. Pain management is a tricky thing, I'm afraid I'd be drugs, drugs drugs the whole way if it were me, I can't imagine the frustration and pain. Hope you find a way to manage it. xx
Glad the cherub is treating you right - men come and go *not yours or mine just a general statement* cherubs are for life (both flavours boys and girls)
sorry to hear about the job - sounds like you've got the right attitude to it - fingers crossed for you.
As for the house stuff being on hold guess its annoyin in the extreme but good for the discodancing?
I'm glad things are good overall - we're like that at the mo - no great disasters (fingers crossed) and happy for the moment all told.
Not looking forward to DS leaving but very excited at the same time if that makes any sense.

Can't believe your DD will be 16! Bah to her being away for it though. I'm sure you'll make up for it when she gets home. I hope her dad spoils her though.
Sounds like you've got it all sorted. One big push to get rid of the debt (me included) before you move.
Woohoo to new car and smaller house. I know it'll be better for you there. Plus the savings on rent and petrol.
KK sorry to hear about your leg. When you say "make the most of the time I have left" do you mean your actual leg or just the use of it?
I hope you won one of the certificates at the discoGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
