I'm quite jealous of tapas and cocktails myself! As long as I get enough sun to ward off vitamin d deficiency, I don't care about anything else :)

Mind you, I'm finally going abroad again on a little holibob, later in the year - I'll be going to the French side of the Franco-Spanish border, for a family wedding (we get about, our lot!).

Me too - tapas and cocktails sounds lovely and I'm glad you'll get away too KC :) lovely to see you.

RT giggling at the thought of how freckly I'll be when unlobstered and back! And, change is good - I think this is the right thing, its not like the smaller house is tiny - 3 bed/2 bath its just the garden space which is lacking (solved by pots and no grass cutting hurrah) and the chooks may have found a 'time-share' at a chums along the road.

Today's a long one - womble land during day then board meeting at night time.
So need a cunning plan involving

    Making lunch and taking it
Trying to get away on time
Pop in and see a chum enroute home for a cuppa
book hotel - not done that yet
    Send OH passport numbers
    Put work cheque in bank
Text frog lady and say I'm sorry she took my cheque to Canada (nice for the cheque) but putting it in the post when back doesn't suit me - so either enter into the land of internet banking with me or put cash straight into my account in the town you live in. (but phrase it a bit nicer) otherwise it will be a month til I have access to the dosh.

DD babysitting tonight for one of our board members which means she'll earn a bit of money.

Text chum about dd staying at weekend.

Pippi, excellent decision to contact the frog lady again! You were certainly right about her ...

And yes, I'm *so* looking forward to getting away - I'm away within England next month, but its not the same, not when you're used to travelling :)

Remember to stop and breathe during your meal breaks - thats a long day you've got there!

By the way, did anyone else see what the giveaway book in the newsletter is this week? Polish for Dummies! I've applied for this one, since I'm now connected by marriage to a Polish woman, and I bet she teaches the kids Polish. Can't be unable to understand a single word my great nephews and nieces are saying! So Polish it is ...

    Hotel booked - £29 :)

I'll try and have proper breaks KC - its hard when your shift is over lunchtime and you've volunteers to try and herd.

    :)

now that's a lame excuse from the frog lady, well done for sending a strongly worded, no nonsense text, (said in advance if you're still creating it because i know you will do it).

Mmmm .... needing to herd volunteers (I love that!!!) ... okay, I get that. But you can work your own breaks around that. Like for me, I often have work that starts at 12 or 12.30, that can go on for 1.5 hours ... trick is to eat accordingly ... it *does* take effort, its true (and I hope you *did* take your lunch along, young lady :p ).
