Another one not around much
Dad was there in 1962/3, think I am a wee bit older than you
The next time frog lady asks if you will do any work for her I would say you can't as you are too busy with your prompt paying customersI used to run an Accounts Payable Department and if times were tough, and we needed to reduce the money going out, I always made sure that the one man bands got paid in full and took it from the big company's

Morning all, been checking in via phone lately, but unable to "thank" with it.
Well done Pippi on pinning down frog lady...I have my craft lady paying online too...soo much quicker and easier for everyone concerned.
You have been busy the past week..lots of moving...new house and holiday organized...well done you :T:T I'm sure they will both do you the world of good.
Worked in the shop for two days this week...a bit slow customer-wise, but got lots of IT work done (good as higher hourly rate) and even got more work done on my first quilt! Will post a linky once I ave finished it...only a little bit of hand-sewing and some quilting to re-do in the middle (wasn't happy with my first few attempts).
Our dog has been pretty poorly recently, being unable to walk for quite a few days. We thought she'd had a stroke, but the vet said it was Vestibulitis, where she loses her sense of balance. After loads of injections and tablets, she is much better, though still a bit wobbly..and we are a bit poorer
Typical though, we had stopped our insurance payments as they were asking over £56 a month for the new policy!!:eek: We hadn't quite got ourselves organized to getting new insurance for her, so it serves us right!! Mind you, we'd have had a few weeks before we could have claimed on a new one, and there would have been an excess to pay too. As it is, we have still not spent what we would have done if we had paid the new monthly rate of our policy. That's good...I think!
Need to get on and do lots about the house, bread to make, hand dyed fabrics to rinse and wash...wonder what the colours will look like....exciting.
If the weather holds, then I want to get into the front garden...it's quite weedy, but doesn't look too bad as the shrubs dominate. Might just tidy around the edges though as we have two pairs of scarlet tiger moths firmly ensconsed there. They are really striking, as bright as most butterflies!! Just read the caterpillars feed on comfrey and nettles...none in the front garden, but loads in the back, so will keep an eye out for them there.
Have a great weekend...no matter what the weather is like

Hey up chaps
Starnac - the manic before the holiday bit kicked in I'm sorry - we're now off enroute to Mr Me's in central and then offski later in the week to the land of the squeaky cheese.
Puppies are at muthers - which is interesting (she's 3 other dogs, one the size of a shetland pony) as peedie decided he was butch enough to take the pony on (who was muzzled just in case) after 5 mins of hair raising and snarls, treats came out and everyone became chums.
Lady of Frog land did indeed keep her word and pay me
I also managed to negoatiate an early cheque from work and so everything is now enprocess at the bank.
Had a lovely walk in woodland in the north where I did my thesis on a tiny flower - nice to see it still (blogged it) and DS and I had a lovely journey down to our chums, just the two of us. DD at a tournament in Doric land.
Lovely to see you all, limited internet so I'll say HELLO to you all - Keiss nice to see you too and everyone else - this is often the time of year with nowt much to say or much going on aside family stuff isn't it.
Have a wonderful week - if the land of the squeaky cheese sets me free I'll try and have a catch up soon!έχουν μια μεγάλη μέρα

Depending on where you source your squeaky cheese!
