Hey all. We're having a lovely bank holiday here. Shame Scotland doesn't get it too pippi. Friends of ours have a caravan by the sea so we've been staying with them (hence why I'm up so early- 4of us in 2twin beds - not really practical!!!) but we've had a lovely time.
Today we will be packing up ready to go home as DH is back in work this afternoon. Me and the kiddies are going up my mums as my sister is home so we'll spend some time with her before she goes home.
What is everyone else up to today??

Morning all, hope you are all having a good day.
Overcast but dry here, should be out in the garden, but shattered, so taking things easy for a bit.
Made a double batch of your elderflower cordial on Sunday Pippi, then DH cut the hedge, so no more flowers from there. I have another source in the garden,so will make more when the flowers are out (shady spot).
I had some (well, rather a lot!) last night, it was wonderful! I had sliced the lemons thinly, so had a few in my drink. I filled the bottle I got from you last summer s well as a litre bottle. The rest I poured into icecube trays, with a little bit of lemon. Still not frozen yet, will letyou know how they turn out. Got the idea from Fruity Passions by Margaret Vaughan, a winemaking book.
Hope you manage to take things easy sometime this week xx

Hi Pippi, I need your help please. I have plant that's appeared in my cocosmia (sp?) and a bit further up in amongst heather. I've posted 2 pics to give you a perspective of the size of the thing, it has a woody stalk but has appeared out of nowhere. I found it whilst clearing those sticky weed things (I hate them).
Here's the pics. Any ideas?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
Wonder if it's a very young cherry laurel.
Keiss, anyone?
