Glad the parcel arrived safely pippi - just wanted to make sure as i have had several bay of e parcels go astray this year  And i put my return address on and package securely.
Bet you're all excited to have the kids home now
Piq - that job sounds great - i thought i'd found a gardening job to apply for but it was a company that wanted established gardeners with their own rounds and you'd have to find your own work too :undecided Confuzzled!
Have a good day all x

Pippi, glad to hear the little stripey ones are back home, even if they are straight to school. Think they need some more schooling on keeping in touch with their mum whilst at the idiots location.
weather is pretty horrible here as well, my hands are turning blue in the office which isn't a fabulous look.
Piq you should give the job a go what have you got to lose?0 -
Hey up all!
Popping in to say hello after being AWOL all weekend. Had a fantastic time though. Party was a success. Loads more people than I expected turned up! Then baby's baptism on Sunday also went well. Again more people than expected turned up and we had to find more chairs!
We were all shattered yesterday though.
Today I have managed to recover the dining room chairs while DH touched up the paint in the front room. I am terrified of staple guns as I think they are so dangerous. I was so careful making sure me hands were not in the way while I pressed the handle. Then I managed to forget to move my thumb and squeezed it in the handle ouch! But at least I didn't staple my hand to the chair :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Ouch Starnac...hope you recover soon! Glad the weekend went well.I'm thinking of applying for a job I've just come across in a garden centre, part-time although I'm not sure I fancy working outside in bad weather....
Piq). If my back had been fine (I broke it 28 years ago, so always given me trouble on-and off since), then I would still be there and lovng it!
It can get wet and cold admittedly, but you get used to it..honest!! I used to wear thin insulate gloves under my waterproof gardening ones, helped immensely!! Still use my big waterproof coat...think it'll be heading to Scotland with me tomorrow
Might nip out now and sow a row or two of carrots before the rains come. then they will be up and looking lovely when I get back in two weeks time...need to change then.
Pippi - nearly finished the handouts, or at least some of them...will email you them when they are done.
Need to get a wiggle on....so much to do before I go!!:eek:

Thank you DDFW. I wouldn't say talented though! You should have seen me an hour before the party crying on the phone to my mum cos I thought I looked frumpy! I was that bad I took 2 (yes 2!!) different dresses to change into at the party!!!!
As it happened I had so many nice complements including loads of "where did you get your dress?" (the biggest compliment IMO of a handmade outfit) that I didn't actually change!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
