KC that sounds very technical, like talking a foreign language but i'm glad its working for you.

Keiss i'm very jealous of your being able to visit Pippi and the stripey clan - it's not fair!

Pippi, hope you get your money back from your borrow to help with the rent jiggery pokery.

Keiss hope all is well up there.

    Hi to KC and LT

Quick question - a while back (may even have been an earlier diary :o ) there was chat about washing powder and "cutting" it with cheap powder to make it go further. At the time I had a massive stash of washing tablets I had got while on offer. Now I'm on powder (that was also on offer ;) ) and was wondering if anyone could remind me how much "good" powder to mix with "cheap" powder that I am going to buy during our shop tomorrow. I would be grateful if anyone could remember

Ouchie, sorry, starnac, not a clue ... did a quick google, but couldn't see anything quickly identifiable, sorry, and I'm gearing up to my early evening work ...

    Hope you find the info!

ETA - I've definitely, definitely cracked the linkie thing, and I didn't need to use the trackback whateveritis, and everything is simpler now. :j

Well done on cracking the link thing KC. I would have given up ages ago!!!

LT *blush* thank you. Nice to see you back.

I've been let off the school run this morning. DH is taking DD this morning so they can go the short cut way! There's no actual path that way so I can't take the pram that way meaning we have to walk all the way round. DH took her that way once and now she associates the short cut with daddy! So guess who was chosen to walk her to school this morning? Never mind bit of peace and quiet for me. Might put the kettle on

Excellent associations there, Starnac! My kettle's about to go on again too.

As for the linkie thing - thank you! Thing is, if I really want to do something like that, I just keep on till I do it. I might have to leave it and come back, but I always do - I'm quite persistent. Stubborn? Mule? That sort of thing :)

Good for you KC. I tend to get very cross with myself if I can't do something! We're trying to teach DD at the minute that practice makes perfect. What an excellent example you are

Thanks starnac! Thats really nice :)

I've just been hopping around on Martin's newsletter this week, and this time I may actually open a credit card for the freebies, which I haven't done for years (oh, apart from a storecard two weeks ago, oops!). But I'm going to a wedding in the south of France (not *that* south of France - the Atlantic coast :) ) .

Runs in and waves quickly - Keiss away later - another full on day here today - including teaching tonight and various bits inbetween!

I hope you're all fine and well

Starnac the washing powder I do one 'nice one' 3kg or so to double value one - Mr t one is excellent and at the moment its so nice I'm not using a posh one to mix it with - previously I have but at the moment the 'stripey' one (3kg - £2.84) is very pleasant and smells nice.

Otherwise I have a link to what I use to do here (sorry its on my own site - not advertising honest)

Have a great one everyone - will try and catch up later!
