Maty thats so true
Starnac I got sunburnt yesterday - that will teach me to think I don't need it! LOL
Today - hmm still a bit lurgied - cheered up by a few lovley cards which are arriving through the week.
Thank you chaps
I'm supposed to be meeting a chum for an early lunch before heading off to the college to invigilate for the afternoon which is lovely and quiet so I'll get tonnes of paperwork done.
Then tonight hmm - a bit shopping with DD after her piano lesson and a flop. Mr F still here and has a drum lesson tonight, Prob best not to ask why the cellist is playing the piano and the guitar player is playing drums - I've given up on this lot.
DS has a 'prom' on Friday so we've borrowing a pair of troo's for him to wear instead of buying today. Very mse
Need to put a cheque in the bank and invoice 3 more folk for gardening. And, plan what to do in a couple other gardens.
And check the greenhouses at work
And, work on a lesson plan.........
Oh, and this was pencilled in as my day off - whoops! Lets think of it as a half day off!
Have a great day I'm off to check the banks!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

hope it isn't sunstroke that you're suffering from Pippi i've had that before and it's not nice. Unexpected with the weather we've had recently. We've got our water wings on here and we had the mother of all lightening storms last night.

Morning all, sorry not been on for a while...was sooo busy at my dad's with all that lovely sunny weather. His garden has less weeds and the greenhouse has more potted up plants, so job well done. I should have used some suncream as well as I too caught a touch of the sun!!
Thank you again Pippi for such a lovely time up in Orkney, I so enjoyed myself. I finished the pair of socks for Dad I started at yours, and have started the second sock of the second pair...so quite a knitty holiday!! Hope Haggis has kept away from your new socks
Hope you are feeling much better now Pippi, not nice to have a lurgy...I hope I didn't give you mine!!! Still have a croaky throat at times...must learn to talk less!
Got back here on Thursday...the flight from Inverness was amazing, lovely clear views over all of Scotland - the Cairngorms and Edinburgh were amazing!! Funny how we first came aross cloud when we reached the Solway Firth!! Sunny today at last..and yesterday too, so I did bring the sun down a bit with me.
Was back working at the sewing machine shop yesterday and sold another machine, the owner seemed surprised, as he was unsure whether the couple would buy anything!! Also had fun helping the owner's wife make a bag from a kit...we nearly got it done. She used a couple of machines to make it, which was good fun.
Right, need to get out into the garden, been baking all morning, so needed to sit down for a bit of a rest, hence my visit to MSE.
Have a wonderful time everyone over the rest of the bank holiday weekend.

Hey Keiss sounds like you've been kept so busy by your dad! I'm so glad the garden was sunny oop north.
Sounds like the machine shop is going brilliantly. Guess what I got given a pair of your 'workshop' mitts for my birthday wasn't that lovely! Enjoy the garden at home - sure the family have missed you!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

It might have been - no sun and then out in sun for 6 hours - I must take sun screen today - Its craxy sunny here again. I'm working
You'll have a puppy to take to puppy party one day - he behaved and didn't eat all the chews unlike his uncle Peedie who was expelled!!Hey pippi. Be careful in the sun. As Britons we are not used to it :rotfl:at cellist playing piano and guitarist playing drums. They'll be a 2 man band soon
I'm so confused - I think OH is a one man band by himself - he was recording all the bits to a song last time I looked - I really don't understand it!
I hope you and yours are well and enjoying hte bank holiday.
Today for me
Womble day and lots of paperworky things to do too.
Hmm - maybe some gardening?
A few invoices to write, email and/or print and not post (as its the bank holiday)
An exhaust to look at for Darwin (I may need a lie down after that)
Did a batch cook of a few things yesterday so I need to box/freeze them up
A bit of planning for my weekend away next weekend
Eggs colected - dogs walked - time for the banks me thinks.
Cuppa required first though.......Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Okey cokey
Paid £300 to Captain CC - must pay some money to the other card as both near their limits.
Lloyds bank has £30 left in OD
Fat controller has £344 in the bank but some not cleared - and I've to write a wages invoice so I must get on to that. And have a think about what money I've got and where I can pay extra to cards.
Invoices for gardening written and must get them printed/emailed. They are for around £500-600
Invoice for college work to finalise which is a few hundred too
And a time sheet to complete for college too for teaching/invigilating but only a few hours on that
April has been a bonkers busy month work wise and May probably will be too - after this I need to seriously STOP saying yes to extra work.
I'm still in the mindset that I've got to accept everything as i have no regular income. I don't have to say no to everything but I do need to be canny and take more time off.
Or should I say - take SOME time off as its making me ill.you see I do listen.
Have a great un - I've to get dressed and vamoose off to womble landTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I can understand it takes a while to learn that you don't have to say yes to everything - when you mix a paid job and self employment, or even just self employment on its own, that issue is going to crop up.
Are you any nearer getting rid of these overdrafts now that you're in work like this, Pippi, or are you running to stand still? I hope you're on the way to not needing the overdrafts! That'd be great xxx
And I hope womble land was kind to you - sounds like it, actually, with all the sun you have up there :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0
