    Hey up all

LT he was expelled, something about eating all the sausages!

KC very true isn't it when works all self employed (its all self employed/casual - although the womble contract is until next March :))

Today thus far - showered - done ALL my invoices :) big tick vg - just need print them now and send them out :)

Board meeting later so I've a busy ish day of paperwork and prep for class tomorrow whilst also galavanting in town and potentially doing a bit of gardening.

L - I'm away doon far far sooth in Englandshire for a lovely girlie weekend meeting up with a group of chums :) (sorry but from up here its all englandshire to me :))

    *ducks to avoid debris*

KC you're right - living out of OD/s isn't much fun - so I need to get my money action plan in gear don't I?? With new money and more regular work that will be more easily achievable I think......but then there's university funds and all that jazz to sort out and changing wtfc coming up (I really need to suss that out) as DS is now on exam leave/left school.

    *clear off cc's
    *clear off Od's

Live long and prosper almost debt free (not thinking of pesky student loan just yet thats too depressing)

I also would like Darwin back on the road and a new (ish) car after the summer for the later and hopefully before the summer for the earlier - or decide if I put all my car funds into Darwinium if he's the right vehicle for dootling about in with no car?

    Decisons decisions.

:) right starved here - brekkie, invoices to print then I'm off.

    :) hope you're all well?

well done for getting all your invoices sorted.

I'd say in Peedie's defence that taking sausages to a puppy training event was asking for trouble, it definitely wasn't his fault.

I have a feeling that i will shortly be requiring the plant identification skills of the collective. I think i've identified the big sycamore tree though already (but it was confuddling because the leaves are red not green which is what i thought they were).

He's not a puppy anymore so surely the rules shouldn't have applied to him ;).
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Well said gallygirl.

Lovely to see some chatter going on here. Well done on sorting o invoices Pippi.

My sister was home for the bank holiday so we had a family time with her which was lovely. She adores the kids and vice versa.

I am feeling very sorry for myself today though as I seem to have caught something and am feeling pretty rough. Poor me. Luckily DH is off work today so is looking after DS for me.

Keiss glad you've had a lovely time with your dad and with Pippi. Sounds like you had a busy 'holiday' though :)

Hey Keiss sounds like you've been kept so busy by your dad! I'm so glad the garden was sunny oop north.

Sounds like the machine shop is going brilliantly. Guess what I got given a pair of your 'workshop' mitts for my birthday wasn't that lovely! Enjoy the garden at home - sure the family have missed you!
Yup a busy time, so I could have done with a few days bad weather to keep me indoors :rotfl: Not really, pleased I got so much gardening done for dad.

Wow, well done on getting some workshop gloves!! I seem to have misplaced my nice orange ones, probably at dad's...checked everywhere and can't find them. Still, I have plenty of wool to make another pair, just not sure I have much time :o! Mind you, I will have some spare time between invigilating sessions when they start next week, so I could get some knitting done then.

I am having problems with my time management too atm. I seem to be busy every day including weekends for the next fortnight!! So if I can hold out until after then and avoid DS2's bug, I'll be fine. :D

Sorry you have succumbed to a lurgy starnac, hope you feel better soon.

DS2 seems to have come down with something nasty too. He has had it for a week, saw the doc today who has signed him off for another week!! He has lots of coursework to finish and hand in for college, but is really feeling quite rough atm, poor thing.

You're right about my time away, a rather busy holiday!! I need a holiday to recover!! :rotfl:

Managed to get quite a bit of potting up and seed-sowing done over the weekend. DH managed to kill all bar 5 of the 40 tomato and pepper plants I had sown before I left for Scotland. So I will be having a very late crop this year!! :o

DS2 was in charge of the greenhouse and everything survived in there...DH felt spraying in the conservatory was enough since it "wasn't very hot" while I was away! Never mind, have sown lots more, looks like the conservatory is going to be full of peppers for most of the summer!!

Need to get back to my paid IT work now...been a bit broken up today as DS2 had the doc and I had a trip to the dentist, followed by the inevitable food shop...we had run out of loads of stuff!!

Hope to get another hour done, then get tea on.

Have a good evening everyone...another lovely (but breezy) day, so a good for drying the washing! Just about caught up now! :D

L - I'm away doon far far sooth in Englandshire for a lovely girlie weekend meeting up with a group of chums :)

    Hey up all!

Ooo Pippi, y'all be along the same bit of 'Englandshire' coastline that I'm gonna be on this weekend :j ........albeit about 150 miles and several Englandshire counties away! I promise to stand on the harbour wall, look out towards the sea - then I'll turn to my left and wave madly to you - ok? Small matter of an island and some rocky outcrops to negotiate, but I'm sure you'll see me!:rotfl:

Am feeling very 'techno-able' today, as I managed to transfer some music from a CD onto my phone - woo hoo!! I know, it's something your average 5 yr old can do in about 3 seconds flat, but a first for me! i've no idea whether I've 'uploaded', 'downloaded' or what, but definitely one step closer to my all time dream job of being a club DJ on Ibiza! :rotfl:Move over Fat Boy Slim..............:rotfl:

Hope all is well with everyone and lurgies are being despatched, plantlets nurtured and puppies pampered! :D

Just hopping in to echo what Greying said, and waving at all - Starnac, sorry you've got a lurgy, I gave myself an allergy attack yesterday with dusting - sweeping a kilim instead of using the vacuum cleaner, I was coughing all evening, grrr.

Greying, I'm tres impressed you managed to get some CD tracks onto your phone - I have techno envy :) I was pleased the other day to take some photos on my phone and transfer them to my computer!
