Prayed for you and Ma this am Miggy :)

Thanks Erme :) I had a nice time visiting her yesterday though she is having some problems with some of the other residents (due to their condition) but thankfully there was a very nice and on-the-ball senior member of staff there who immediately got thinking about the nature of the problem and we are putting things in place so the hopefully this won't happen again. Meanwhile I guess she could do with prayers that nothing untoward happens. :)

Did you get to the Church? I'm sure you must have missed it. I don't know about the lack of energy. Are you okay for vitamins and iron? Are you sleeping okay? Maybe it's the season: lots of people seem to hibernate a bit! You could always have a word with your GP and see if they need to do blood tests or something. I think I've told you mine turned out to be due to hypothyroidism and having a thyroxine supplement has made a huge difference.

I'm off to have a look in my larder and see what tins are lurking, then make a plan to use them up (family - look out!)

Yeah I got out but I'm nowhere near as fit as I used to be :( so will have to get on the bike every other day this week for a wee cycle ride :)

I've just not been going out much I guess. I really struggled with the ride and had to get off at one point and walk :(

And now A says my chain needs oil :)

But the preaching was good and I was glad I went. DV hoping to make the PM on Tuesday. So annoyed whoever edited out (don't know if it was automatic or not) the word !!!!!-baptist. It's a perfectly biblical and theological term and doesn't mean anything bad. Just means I believe in baptising infants by sprinkling according to the covenant. Another email to the mods I think is in order. So now we are not free to express our individual beliefs on MSE as well as not give out info sites  It's not like it's even on a thread. It's on my own DFD. I mean, c'mon!!!

I've already come off the stop smoking thread cos I don't need it and the guru said whoever wanted to go on e-cigs should talk to the smoking cessation nurse about them first - I'm like no, No and NO!!! The smoking cessation nurse is paid by the pharmaceutical companies only to recommend their products ....

Och this site is more hassle than it's worth. Just like facebook :(

  • What happened to your thumb Erme?? Hope you're OK

Well done for having a productive it sounds like you needed a rest! Bet your ratties are pleased for a clean out. I saw the HUGEST rat in the train station this week! I'm not scared of them but a bit weary of the non-pet kind!! We have lots of rats and mice where I go horse riding as the food and hay attracts them but I quite like seeing the odd little mouse scuttling around! The girl who are more city-bred scream their heads off! haha

I split it open with the scissors trying to make a hole in a hard plastic bottle to make another tank for my e-cig LG...

The cheese and oat bake was seriously yum and there was a wee bit left over from the seed loaf so I shoved that in there too. Yet to try the seed bake though. That's for tonight :D

So need to get fit

Now I am going to lie awake all night wondering what sort of Baptists get bleeped out! :rotfl:Seeing as we're at a Baptist church here...:D

Great that you got to go to a couple of churches all in one go, and get fit at the same time, AND do your cooking. A good day by the sound of it. :)

    Hey thumb is healing :j

And stomach bug is a wee bit better (still doesn't like morning coffee but hey ho)...

Lied in till about 10.30 this am due to the stomach. According to the world and his wife these things last about 2 days of weakness and feeling pants but at least I was able to eat porridge this am and it's sunny so hoping DV (God willing) to get lunch and like get out for the food shop...

Also my spreadsheet was wrong :(...It said a nice number for income and then when I rejigged it it said a bit less (like about £40 less ) so that's had to be accommodated.

So yeah no bible read this am but at least the boys are fed and there's a wool shop down near Mr. A so I'm hoping to get some cheap wool when I cycle down to Mr Al later. :). And then I can expand the blanket I got from the charity shop for the leather chair :)

Hey, I come back after a day away and find you poorly! I think it's going round on the threads, just saw someone else with the same problem so I shall have to wash my hands when I come off the computer in case I get it too...

Hope you are feeling better now? Those things are horrible. Porridge is great though, so glad you could manage that.

How will you knit with a dodgy finger? I want to see a pic of this chair cover when you've finished it, having (kind of) watched its progress! There's a shop near us that sells various wools and I used to have a regular check of the oddments bin for nice pieces to make crafts with... had to stop as I was buying more than I used :D and the lovely textured and chunky wools were no good for hair braiding (though the multi-coloured ones were good).

Yay to the ecig stuff finally getting here! Is it just slow because it's from the US? Things my sister sends take forever...

    Yeah I think so Miggy...

Well stomach is better....head got better on Thursday night (from doing evening routine) - only now I have the flu :(

Also cartos (bit where the juice goes on e-cig inside the tank) are only lasting a day so that's another whoopsie into the OD I have to get - different cartos....

They don't have like the ones I have on the Christian website I got the tanks from and it's like chinese new year so no one has any cartos :rotfl:

And to make matters worse I not only have the flu but a temperature to boot...Time to hit the paracetamol and orange juice I think :) And get some lavender from the cheap shop tomorrow for like the aches and pains. That should help...

How do I know this? Cos about 5 years ago I had the mega flu (don't know what it was. 2 lots of antibiotics later and I was no better)....Had it for like 6 weeks....It was awful. A treat was a bus ride for the 10 minute walk into town LOL

So yeah having just downed paracetamol for the temperature (I figure when it's 21c in the lounge I shouldn't exactly be like sweating like a pig. I'm used to that) and like hoping I'll be okay for my meeting other side of town on Monday..

But can't see myself getting very far today bar sofa to bed :(- och and like maybe the bus for the 10 minute walk to the cheap shop

I don't know what caused it. I mean I had like muscle pain yesterday. Went outside and it felt better but like it was minus something or just above freezing. Then went down with the aches and pains at my friend's house (20 minute walk away) so had to catch the bus home. It could be the contrast between it being freezing outside and roasting in my friend's house or it could just be a virus. I have like no idea
