  • You would imagine that one seller would reduce the price though to divert all potential buyers to themselves.

Did a quick search, found this company offering the Ipad2 for £321.

Have never used this company so I suggest you google it for reviews if you decide to order.

This company is selling them for £343, again never used them, so google to review before buying anything.

I have the ipad2, bought from JL, personally I wouldn't buy a cheaper one from an unknown website company, I would pay the RRP and at least you have a contact in the UK if anything goes wrong with it. It may be cheaper initially to purchase from a unknown company, but it could end up costing you more in the long term if things go wrong.

Yeah, there is such a company and it is called Apple!
  • Merlot123 thank you for taking the time to help.
I am cautious about purchasing from abroad and would be worried it wouldn't arrive in time for Christmas now even from a reputable seller.
If I was to be waiting until after Christmas does anybody have any suggestions to pick up a cheap Transformer Prime? I hear it is better spec and not too far away from release. I know this is just as unlikely particularly with it being new but any ideas would be gladly received.

If you know anyone who is in the Met police they get about 7 percent or possibly more discount on ipads at Apple.

hope we aren't paying for the police to ponce around with ipads

Not really, Apple keep a tight control on prices. If a official reseller was to go against what Apple wants then I don't think they would be selling any Apple products in future.

Again, the only way your going to get the iPad 2 at the price you want is a refurb or second hand. The one merlot linked to (esp 1st one) seems to be selling refurbs.

The best price I have seen on a new iPad2 seems around the £360 mark, which is a discount of 10% but you don't seem to think so.

It's around the cheapest you are going to get it for if you can find it as they sell out very quick at that price.
  • I don't know where you are seeing it at £360?
I read on another thread something about Iceland employees receiving a 10/15% discount (can't remember which one). I think this was at Comet, can anybody clear this up?

Too late to get from anywhere outside of the UK now but iPads shouldn't attract import duty
