Do they not all come with a one-year Apple warranty regardless of store?
If they are able to be sold for profit in America at £320ish is there no way to get one around that price using vouchers/discounts at any stores?

Apple products are very rarely discounted. Where did you get £320 from? The price in the US is $499 + tax, so $543.91. Credit card exchange rate is around $1.52 so you are looking at £357.

Your best bet would be to look at the cashback sites. I have just bought a 32gb 3g ipad 2 from Tesco. I got £25 cashback from Quidco and £23 worth of clubcard points. Retail price was £579 and I saved £48 on that. Of course that is before I exchange the clubcard points for 2x instore or 4x in deals, making the real savings much more.

Unfortunately the extra clubcard points deal has ended now but you may find somewhere with higher cashback. I believe Viking Direct were offering 9% cashback through quidco.
  • If you know anyone who is in the Met police they get about 7 percent or possibly more discount on ipads at Apple.
  • Sorry my internet has not been working.
Does anybody know if this is exclusive to Met police or does it apply to any UK force?

7% off £399 = £371.07 which is higher than the price I linked to.
  • They are no longer available sadly so I cannot buy from that seller.
I know it seems near on impossible but if anybody could find a white one for around £350 or as close to as possible that would be excellent.

Does anybody have any further advice?

Look at Android tablets. Far more bang per buck and limitless expansion with SD cards.
  • The only Android tablet I have read of that competes with the iPad is the Asus Transformer Prime and it isn't available until January and more expensive.
Surely there will be one shop offering some sort of discount to a specific group if not everybody, I understand it is rare for Apple products to be discounted but there must be a single offer somewhere.
  • Have I found an item in the world that has absolutely no offers regardless of seller?

Why would there be any offers? They are selling fine at the current price, no need for any discounts.

Keep an eye out for refurbished iPads on the Apple website, they are out of stock at the moment though http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/specialdeals/ipad
