Pap, sorry you didn't pass, but the mistakes you made are easily correctable and just down to nerves, so you're right to believe you ARE a good driver and WILL pass next time - get it booked girl!!
Well done on being so positive :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Looks good to me PAP... If that £28 is a bank charge can you persuade them not to take it or claim it back? Sometimes life gets in the way of your plans but it sounds like you will be back on track in no time!!
taka its a charge from a charge from a charge... the problem is i had a £20 cushion (overdraft) on both accounts (well more than that) then i reduced it then removed them... since i have removed them i have had 3 charges... never ever had a charge in my life :rotfl:
yep... all i want to do now really is to get my college cheqyue sent and me have my place :j to be honest i would rather do that than buy a car nowsounds stupid that with all the cash i have spent :rotfl: but its the truth
thanks snaggles, i am not going to get down about it... i would have usually and would have been 'down' for days but at the end of the day i am not perfect not everyone passes first time and i feel i will be a better driver because of it. So much of my life has been pushed and everyone wanted me to pass (which didnt help) but its up to me yes i failed so what if no one likes it its there problem... i am happy and thats all that counts... i dont care...
anyway having a massive download session with the great itunes voucher thingie found on here... at last i dont feel guilty buying music :rotfl:... a huge bargian a 79p track for in the region of 2p... how fab is that0 -

sf ~ all i would say is read all the thread before you decide, i didnt do it first time around, i was in debt and couldnt chance it... ok i couldnt really this time but i did... code came a few mins later and still have over £90 left :j but as i say read the whole thread including the ethics etc... ok i didnt agree with it (seeing where the speculation of where they came from was added to the thread) but itunes are set to increace there prices soon... and i will not get songs illegally (file share) i dont belive in it however getting them as cheap as i can is fab... 13 songs i downloaded today ~ should have cost £10.27 in reality they prob cost me all of £1.50

Hi
Just been reading the last couple of pages of this thread, sorry to hear about you not passing your test but just wondered if this would help you next time when you do rebook it.
I started my lessons and took my first driving test when i was 17 after trying 3 times and failing up until i was about 19 i gave up till last year when i was 25. I had to re take my theory again which i wasnt impressed about & was different this time due it going all high tech on a computer! (first time was a pencil and paper test! Feel old now lol)
I have now been driving over a year and its great just having freedom and not having to relay on people to go places.
Im glad i started my lessons again and even though its expensive the money is well worth it.
As i had already had the embarrassment and disappointment of telling everyone i failed again i though this time i would keep it a secret. I never told anyone that i was having lessons or when my test was and i think it was the best thing i did. I had no pressure on me from anyone and it felt like a huge relief.
It was great when i came home and told people i had passed my test the shock on their faces was a great sight!
I was also really nervous about it but heard that if you eat a banana before you go it helps and i also got some rescue remedy (its an awful taste) and i bought some calms and took them in advance. I dont know if any of it helped but it probably did psychologically) if you know what i mean.
I also tried not to think about it too much and just waited until the day came to focus on it.
Im sure you'll be fine next time just think of that as a trial run & good luckLBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0 -
thanks smudge... i wasnt telling anyone untill after but it 'slipped out' at work from someone i trusted and mum spotted it due to my nerves etc etc... i must admit it didnt help so next time i will keep :shhh: :rotfl: as i am sure i wouldnt be as nervous... i was told about the bananas but couldnt eat... havent eaten properly for days but i did use rescue remidie and it helped
glad you got tehre i the end though, i will too its just a matter of time... :rotfl: at the theory i loved my theory and i passed first time... but then i love exams (non practical) i wasnt even nervous on that... could do that with my eyes closed... mine runs out the beggining of next year i will have passed by then
thanks for all the advice, its nice to here that you arent the only one who have/had trouble learning :A the problem is each person is different... it will come in time0 -
Hiya,
Sorry that you didnt pass, I passed on my third attempt and each time I was so nervous. I never get nervous with exams or interviews but then I have never been scared of those nor spent a fortune on lessons. I was physically shaking when I got out of the car and I was just so stressed that I failed for silly things.
I talked b0llox the first time about wild cats in America and the second time I just hummed to myself. When I did passed I kissed the examinerand made him go red.
Keep trying and book a re test as soon as possible and try and get an appointment early as that will give you less time to worry about it. I think the reason I passed was that I was too asleep to worry and drive so I just drove and passed
Good luck and I hope you pass soon :jDebt Free - done
