These concessions only apply as long as you are in receipt of benefit. If you stop receiving benefit you are required to inform the College and a fee will be charged for the rest of your course on a pro-rata basis.
Obviously the reverse will apply. But check with them."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

That's because they're always more keen to advertise getting money out of you, than you getting money out of them..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Pap, my initial reaction is that you should go to college. Even if that £200 sets you back a month in your moving out fund... its the next step to a better job and/or more training and a career you enjoy. The longer you are doing a job you don't enjoy the worse you'll feel, if you know you are using your day off to do something so positive it might help you cope with the cr*p days at workDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Does your employer do any grants to encourage further education?
best wishes

Do you actually have to make a decision about whether you are going to college or not now? Why don't you save up and see how much you have by September. You might be able to afford both. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Right, if you put aside £50 per month from May for college, you will have the money by August. How much on top of that can you save per month for your moving out fund? The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Why dont you phone the college while youre off work and ask them when the money has to be paid by, then at least you will know and will be able to plan accordingly. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
