I've nothing useful to offer on the PCOS front but can't you knit your mum one of your monkeys and put a wee note in his hand saying "really pressie coming soon..."Mortgage OP 2025 £7700/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

They look much better in real life gem. I ordered pineapple melts and bakery mix melts for me and mum has for her birthday grapefruit melts, esspresso melts and 2 coffee muffins (made as a commisioned order). They look amazing seriously and i smelt them through the wrapper and they smell amazing (even if i do have a cold)...
anywyas i am back off to bed, where i was before she called :rotfl:there is a thread on the special occasions board as she now posts as she wondered where the rush came at xmas :rotfl:0 -

I love candles. I love "something for the wickend" for everyday ones, but they have some really nice special ones too No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
glad to hear your pressie arrived - they look amazing!
re the PCOS I would really push to see a consultant - I now go to a joint gynae/endrocrine clinic specifically for people with PCOS which runs once a month at my local hospital - well I went once last year and I'm going again next month.
The periods did take a while to come back completely regular and I did get side effects from the metformin but I've decided to stick with it as I can see the benefits. Hair wise there's a cream called vaniqua (sp) and some tablets called spirolactone (sp) both of which I've had but never got very far with - but I'm a dab hand with a razor and tweezers
- I've got one of those wilkinson sword ones with the block of shaving 'cream' round the blades which I find great.
like Sea78 I can't believe I'm sharing this in a public forum so I'll stop now before I reveal too much

PAP,
We all are worried about meeting new people and what they will think of us-my way of dealing with it is to be loud (did you notice?) but I was just as nervous as you, honest.
And, for the record, I too have 'hair' issues so please don't think you are alone ok?
You are a wonderful, kind, sweet caring person-that's all we saw when we met you ok?

yorkie i went to the docs this morning and asked for a repeat of metaformin but he wouldnt issue me them  I think it does boil down to my weight for most things so i will try and lose more of the weight. I cant believe i am sharing this on an open forum either
sarah, They do look amazing eh, i would have loved to give them as xmas gifts last year but i had done all mine. the good fairy is definatly a front runner for this year. I am still ill, mum got me into the docs this morning and i have a viral infection (caught off someone on the train no doubt). Doc said that i had to have some days off till it clears up, just been on the phone to work and we came to a decision that i would have until friday off and then i would phone friday morning if i am no better i can have till monday off. Of course thats ment lots of money spent at the chemist
bunny awww
i am quite shy anyways (hence why i was so quite) but yes you were loud but i think thats your personality too. Cant wait to meet you all again :T 0
