hi Pap
When you get around to making yor monkeys a tip is - instead of buying the stuffing buy a cheap double duvet from asda etc for £7 - £8 and use the filling. My mum made 32 large cuddly snowmen this xmas for our xmas fayre using two double quilts so works out quite cheap.

Wow pap you spend a lot on your friend.
I only spend 15 each on my two closest friends.

i also got 8% cashback through quidco :j best confess on my weekly spends thread
sm ~ thansk for that, thats ideal i shall be doing that
beanie ~ in all fairness i have been buying all year so its not been much but also i feel obliged to do it iyswim. On her birthday i spent £40 . However next year i am only making these monkeys and attaching money... Anything in my birthday/xmas box will be ebayed and then charity shoped if not sold in the new year... i want to be as frugal as possible next year.
The monkeys are here http://www.hawkin.com/rkmain.asp?PAGEID=20670&STK_PROD_CODE=09923 i love hawkins bazaar, only the nearest shop is in town... that was going to be one of my birthday treats... going shopping in hawkins and getting my find it (£15) with my mums oh's cash (he always gives me cash). No such luck now... ah well maybe in febuary i will go for a trip down there?0 -

Pap, I'm ever so sorry, I forgot to tell you that I went to Home Bargains on Sunday and they had sold out of the yes/no dolls. I've checked in the other cheapy shops near me (there are LOADS of cheap shops - must be a town full of DFWs!) and couldn't find any.
Really sorry hun. xxx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Are u still going to the meet? I need to book my train ticket, then we can look at where we're gonna stay..... I know I keep saying it but this time I really need to get my butt in gear!
Perhaps u could make ur camera ur first challnge of the new year? My first challenge of the new year is gonna be to learn to type!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0
