Hi Postingalwaysposting,
You would be suprised how badly some of those people you think are doing great are in reality!
Most people play pretend! So next time someone says oh its all rosey or other people seem to have it all....... If you were in their shoes you would probably be crying!

Awwww PAP, I was just sitting here thinking, I am sure I haven't seen PAP around for a couple of days, I log on and find this!
Keep your chin up love.. I went through five driving instructors till I found one that gelled with me. If you are happy with the one you have now, I would stick with them......
Sorry you are feelin down sweetie, seems to be the same with a lot of peeps at the moment, not sure if it is the hour going back, darker nights and the thought of all the festivities coming up.... Keep your chin up :beer:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hi PaP :hello: :hello:
I haven't been around for a few days either - what with training for work and a particularily vitriolic 'troll attack' last weekend.
I'm really sorry to see you so 'down in the dumps' - your posts are usually such an inspiration to the rest of us.
As far as the driving test goes - just don't let it worry you - it is much harder to pass the test now than it was when I took it - we had no theory, just 2 or three questions about the highway code, followed by a 30 minute drive 'around town'. You will pass, in your own good time - try having a little 'break' from your lessons, just to re-charge your batteries and de-stress. Maybe you could consider taking the test in an automatic car - I know it restricts your licence, but it will be much easier and, later on, you could 'up-grade' to a full licence.
As far as the rest is concerned - you are in 'the right place' for tackling your debts and, judging by the way you dealt with your mum's problems, you are going to be a shining example to the rest of us.
Finally, PaP - I can not believe that your cards are 'pants' - I have seen your artistic talent and just know that they will be not only professional but a projection of your sparkling personality.
Unfortunately it is quite normal for artists to be dissatisfied with their own work - Don't underestimate yourself PaP.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Pap ((((hugs)))) I'm sorry you are so down ((((even more hugs)))).
From what I've seen of your work, it's really fantastic - I remember seeing some place cards you had made, and I was really impressed. I'm not sure where you have been trying to sell them (ebay?) because I've got a bit behind reading your diary (just catching up now!), but have you thought about local craft fairs/car boot sales? If people can have a good look at your work, I'm sure they will love it and be more likely to buy it.
I don't know whether you've thought about this already, but what about choosing a charity that's close to your heart and donating 50% of your profit (after you have deducted what it cost you to make the card) to it? I'm thinking that it might get people interested, you still make a small amount, the charity makes a small amount, and you get your work 'out there' and possibly drum up some repeat custom in the process.
If you decide to do it, and you do go to craft fairs/boot sales, maybe make yourself a big banner promoting the charity donation thing. If the banner is really eye catching too, it will draw people over to your stall.
Don't know if that would work? (I did rubbish at business studies though, so I could be wrong...:)).
Oh, and even more massive ((((((((HUGS)))))))), and Natasha (who is wearing your skirt again today for about the millionth time) sends a big sloppy kiss. Ryan sends a handshake, because he 'doesn't do kisses, he's a big boy now'...lol...."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

thanks all, i really dont know what to say, just finding it really hard to cope at the momment and its getting to me  sorry i cant reply to you all indivdually but thanks and i will hopefully sum everything up now
driving ~ i will get there but its hard because every month its £200 that i could be saving, my next test has come through though ~ january have a 4 hour lesson on tuesday but i am going to tell him that i can only do 10 hours a month which is £200 because i cant physically afford any more. I can drive and i love driving i just cant pass the test
cards ~ they do look totally awfull and cheap. to be honest anyone could throw together the cards i have made without any tallent  i havent listed them yet because they are awful. i will pop some pic up at the end of this note. Snaggles i thought about the 50% thing but i am note sure how i could work it? its difficult. Anywyas i have ran out of blank cards now so i can do nothing untill payday anyways.
i have been listing some of my craft stuff on turbolister ready for upload because it isnt going to work is it? i need to be realistic...
anyways some of my 'cards' although they will prob be taken to the charity shop to sell.0 -
