Pleased that the cards are selling for you. Please just be careful buying stuff and make sure you are actually making a profit because it realy isnt worth the time & effort otherwise! Are you happy for us to start the CJ after Christmas? Hope you're feeling a bit brighter today. I do think if you continue to feel so low you need to go back to the GP or even maybe try taking some St John wort & see if that makes a difference. Its not good to feel so miserable my friend!

PaP - I think your prices are too low. I think you should ask at least 50p more.

Hey Pap - just a thought for the male cards, the 1940's look is very 'now', and I think it's quite masculine, with shades of brown, olive green etc. A friend of mine (male) has just redecorated using this look at it looks classily masculine without being too 'beer and football' (although there's nowt wrong with beer and football ;)). Just wondered if you could take inspiration from something like that for the mens cards?

rog, the ones i am listing now i have added 50p to them :) that makes with postage £3 per card and i think thats a fair price. I have however now figured out how to catogorise (sp?) my shop so i have a bargian basement with 99p cards in them which i dont think are that special and didnt cost much to make. Should have another 20 listed in around 20min :j

Do you know though where i can advertise to? beacuse my shop is a shop on ebay unless i put some cards up for general sale not many will visit and thus generate trade  i am worried that it will fade int teh background and i shall be paying fees for nothing :o i have a 30day trial so i suppose if all else fails i can close it after the 30 days

PaP - you are, eventually, going to need your OWN website. You can get a site from MrSite for around £25-£30 which includes your own website name, and you can make money by allowing other people to advertise on your site.
Also, there was a site where you could get a totally free webpage - I used to use it - I'll have a look and come back to you.

thansk snaggles, i personally dont like the beer/footbal type cards i think they are too 'childish' and although i may produce some down the line i want mine to be a little more classy ;) i have made a few green card today but i will defantly look at bringing in browns and reds, i also have some plain black and white papers which i thought would look really nice for male cards. Because i havent had a male influence in my life very much its hard to know what they would like. I guess i juts need to make a few and see how they sell :)

a little update... so far without taking in ebay fees i have 'made' £14.40 :j also there is the postage issue, everyone is paying through paypal so what i shall do is pay the postage using my own cash but once i get the payouts from paypal i shall pay myself back :rotfl:

ohhh i see  now this is silly questions but ~ with your own website can people then find you on google? When you purchase a 'mr site' do you then pay £30 each year to keep the site running? I dont know anything about html/checkouts/putting anything together, can a techno phobe do this? Is it worth testing the water for a few months on ebay or would you suggest getting a 'mrsite' before or after xmas?
