Just be grateful that you're alive and didn't end up in a much more serious accident.
For the cost of your glass, is claiming worth while when you consider you may possibly have to pay the excess and your premiums will probably increase for the next 5 years?
Seriously, I know your pride is hurt and blah blah blah, but be grateful and move on. Don't cut your nose of to spite your face.
Oh, and personally I don't believe a word of what you say, so good luck with your insurers if you do go that route because they are a tougher audience than me.
My insurer won't deal with case because I am Third Party Fire and Theft insured which means my car being damaged is not insured even though the causer caused the damage to my car. The only low-cost route for me to receive compensation is small claims court.0 -
now this would make a great day out! and then some cake

people that play the "race card" when its clearly not needed should in my opionion be arrested and charged with inciting racism.0

And there are three things you are ignoring:
1) Motoring offence of speeding.
2) Illegal numberplates on your car. Somehow I doubt your car is a bit newer than 40 years old. Only cars registered pre 1972 are allowed to have black numberplates.
3) Dangerous driving or Driving Without Due Care And Attention for writing stuff down as you're driving down the road in excess of the speed limit in your car with illegal numberplates.0 -

Just caught the end of this and had to read the whole thing to see what it was about. I'm none the wiser, but it has entertained me.
Going to drive my car off road now, at speed, to flatten some uncivil racist weasels.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. My car colour / number plate has a social network meaning because people have said something about the colour.
Also these days there is Corporate Racism (weasel style). This should have been dealt by in this country many years ago before post-1960s immigration. It has spread to every nook and cranny. You know it more if you are not the same race. If you are the same race then the habit is to ignore as being Corporate Racism and call it by another name.0 -
