We broke up on tues and are back in on the 3rd, so not even 2 weeks.:( By the time I've cleaned the house, sorted Xmas/xmas dinner etc, catch up on marking and planning I'll be back in school.

Think of those working over xmas and not getting 6 weeks off in summer plus all the other half terms:mad::mad:
  • Not to worry, Nikkilala will do an online order for delivery before tomorrow night ;);)[/QUOTE]

Just phoned the brewery and nipping to the cash & carry;)
whilst in bed last night came up with a plan
in the interest of health and safety it may not be healthy
i put the coffee descalers 4 tablets into boiling water and then into a spray container and have just sprayed it all over my shower (glass door enclosure and tiles)
    leaving it work
    having a pj tips now
will then go and scrub it with non scratch scourer (27p from tesco's)

will be back to let you all know the result........................

Let me know how that works, I've got clear glass shower and if it does thats a fantastic idea as I have a "few" tablets;););)

Had an earlyish night last night but just caught up with the nightshift now, How do you lot do it????:eek::eek:

Off shopping now for a few bits then attempting to load piccies on glitched digital photoframes for Xmas pressies. Laughed at myself this morning when I saw 4 £1 Thomas duvets on the side from last night, the duvet fetish continues:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Nipped into Sainsbobs last night and they've got some candles in tins reduced to £1.05, the tins are silver and called frosty winter, smell gorgeous and they gave them in jars too for £1.35 45 hours burn time down from £4. Would make lovely extra Xmas pressies or nice little treat for us girlies.
Hope everyones ok, see you all much later;)

If it's such an easy job with all the perks then train for 5 years like I did and do it. Easier to talk the talk than walk the walk:p.

My husband is also one of those who works over Xmas, he also did shifts, night shifts and all sorts to look after our daughter and provide while I retrained at uni.

I can't be bothered to row with anyone, have a lot going on personally (terminally ill father in law, nearing the end) and a job that means I have to have a brave face every day.

Flo flo, I have major respect for teachers, My DS has some fab teachers who work so hard, and go way over and above what they should do. He has a fantastic maths teacher who is retired and only teaches a few lessons a week but my DS tells me how he spends days preparing work at home and the amount of test papers my DS had given him to check and mark around exam times was ridiculous. And he was taking them home and going over them with my DS in his own time. I really think teaching takes so much commitment and TBH quite a special quality:)
