  • Morning! Just had my glitched sausage sarnie and a cup of green tea, does anyone actually like this green tea, even for a penny I'm not impressed. Back to the tetleys for a proper cuppa. Kids off to school so last day of peace and quiet. Have a great day everyone, if I dont catch up in the day see you at the pub later.
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:
  • There is none of my beer behind the bar,:( someone is going to have to go and visit some nice friendly monks in Belgium to get my beer, this is the only place you can buy it. You need to get Westvleteren 8 and 12, couple of crates of each should do, :) I'm not a big drinker.

So who's up for a booze cruise, I'm too far away
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Green tea does have a funny twang, but its supposed to be really good for you! I sometimes pop one in the tea pot with a normal tea bag so my OH doesnt realise he's drinking 'hippy tea'!

Happy Christmas to you too Saversavvy! :xmassmile

Hi Lindos hope you are well and the kids enjoying their hols, mine not impressed they dont finish until today.

Good idea I will give it a try to see if that hides the taste. Did you see my post last night about the leg of pork from our Extra. It was less than half price on the SEL but full price on the label. Got paid £2 to take away a £13 joint of pork. Happy Days:T

A little bit of advice required please Elite 11+

I read a few posts about cellophane but I've searched and can't find them again! Anyway someone mentioned that they are selling cellophane at Lidl at the moment. I popped into my local yesterday and couldn't find any, SA said they didn't have any, didn't know anything about it. I've now searched for the telephone number of a couple further afield and can't find one :( grrrrrrrrrrr!!!

So my question is....anyone that got the cellophane, what did it look like? Is it on a roll? And has anyone seen it in more than one store? I really don't want a fruitless round trip!! Or if anyone else has tips of anywhere else I could try that would be fab. I thought about asking a florist but do they actually sell it? Thank you very much!

I got the Lidl cellophane in Morden, it was clear with white snowflakes on and I think they had a clear with silver stars too. They didn't have a lot of stock and it was one of those items that they only stock for a week or so in the 'funny section; in the middle. Probably been replaced with mountain climbing gear or toy snakes by now.

you can get similar at a friendly florist, or they do clear or coloured rolls at staples. HTH
I have voucher codes for free places in the Cardiff Half Marathon 2017. PM me for details :)

Morning -have the night shift been chatting again - 12 pages to catch up on? Looking forward to a glitch before 2pm when off to the job centre followed by mr T's for turkey & trimmings. :)

It wad only on 9th December that nikkilala set up this thread and imaginatively called it Xmas and new year edition. Unfortunately I doubt we will make it to Xmas eve before a new thread is needed. Anyone wanting to set up the new one when due?

    BTW, happy Christmas everyone.
I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

Yes they are finishing late, but dont go back until the 9th Jan which I think is later than some of the other schools. My DS1 then goes off on a German exchange trip on the 10th so is only in school for 1 day - he is sooo pleased about this.
