yes but that's what ive been doing i.e. opening one isa account per year and putting the max amount into it....don't understand what i've said to cause this confusion....



EDIT: think i know where the confusion is....you can have more than one ISA account. i have an isa account from 2005, another from 2006 etc.....but you can only open one account per year and you can't top up any accounts from previous years.

you can only have 1 isa with NEW money, ie if you have isas from previouse years you can transfer them to a new one. i have done 3 in one year like this. also you can open an isa from scratch in every finacial year.

Just caught up again from last night. I thought I'd make a start on a big clear up today, started pulling things out, got the hoover out, then made the fatal mistake of thinking "I'll just have a quick cuppa and catch up on THE thread"...... where did that hour go?? :rotfl::rotfl:

I will be on and off all day, trying to keep up so I don't have loads of pages tonight as I'm hoping to squeeze in a quick trip to T's later
