That is sooo true, Oh god you'll start me off again;)My DS loves Xmas and really helps me, but this time next year he'll be at uni and I just keep finding myself thinking next year I'll put the decs up myself and won't have a house full of teenagers to feed who pinch my wine:rotfl::rotfl:Off to Boots now to pick up that order, you lot are getting me far too emotional:o
But this time next year you'll still have a house of teens to eat you out of house and home! He'll be on Christmas Hols, bringing you gifts of dirty laundry and keeping you up at night as he talks to mates from uni into the early hours on the pc.
And his local mates from school, the ones who hang around your house looking for food and booze they'll still be around as they all get together to catch up from their various unis/colleges.
My DS1 has just returned from uni (he's in 2nd year) and tbh it's just like he never left! DSes1 and 2 still bicker like brothers and dare each other to do silly things etc so don't worry too much Nikkilala, you'll have your boy home for Christmas next year too.
It's only a game

Had loooong and stressful day yesterday so treated myslf to an alarm clock free sleep. I think I can sneak in a Good Morning before the clock flicks by 12 and I sound like a layabout!
Actually I've been awake an hour or so and catching up here but its wam in bed and cold out of bed so the lappy talked me into staying in bed!0 -
That is a fantastic idea. That would be so much more fun than trying to find the best most expensive gift which is what Xmas seems to be about. I'll bear that mantra in mind when I grow old.
I knew Belfast was full of carp but I thought it was all home grown
Oh dear god no. I tried pretty much everything you listed but again, castor oil is a big no no. Turns out my bubbas were just too darn comfy. DS1 had to be pulled out and with DS2 they pulled the plug and let gravity do the rest! Yes, both were inductions at 10 days over and neither birth was simple. Strange, nothing much has changed with them!
DS2 was awake most of the night. His 1st 2 teeth came through at the same time without any bother but he's making up for it now. Number 3 came through about 2 weeks ago and number 4 is all but there but poor wee mite is suffering.
I'm in a pickle. DS1 has really gotten into Cars and Toy Story and through glitches and bargains, I have loads of stuff from both films. I've wrapped up most of the Cars diecast cars plus a Buzz Lightyear toy but I have all the other TS toys still in the attic (Woody, Jessie, Bullseye etc). I'm scared he'll grow out of them before his birthday (August) but I don't want to spoil him. I also have loads of Happyland stuff but I'm thinking of giving them as joint gifts for the boys next year.
Arghhhhhh I'm hopeless. I want DS to be happy but he is only 2, doesn't know what Xmas is and I have always said I don't want spoilt kids. It's just hard when I've managed to do so well with bargains this year. Damn you MSE for making me hold back cheap but fantastic toys from my kids!
What's wrong with castor oil?0 -

I could move in and pinch your wine. I promise to drink enough for 8 teenagers.:D0 -

Just heading out the door but just remembered I need some help and I bet someone knows the answer.I've got two of the technika 7" digital photoframes for table pressies for MIL and my mum. I need to get the memory thingies that you put the pictures onto. I've done mine and paid about £8 for it but wondered if anyone knows if I can get them cheaper anywhere or if their's a way of putting them straight into the frame. TIA,answers on a postcard to NIKKILALA C/O Mr T;)Not in a hurry for the answer but thought I'd leave you all with something to do:rotfl::rotfl:
Being as cheap as they are I doubt they have any internal memory, and if they do it would be very limited.0
