I hope you all have a brilliant christmas and new year and find lots of glithches in Mr T's.
Im off on my hols now just about to have a shower then will be heading out of the door - already planned toilet stops on the way to Heathrow at a few T's - got to be done as its ones i haven't visited before - if i find anything i can always leave it in the boot until i get back.
My OH has already said thank god there are no T's in Goa - as you can guess where i would be.
Will be thinking of you all and the goodies im missing.
Take care all:) and see you in the new year xxxx0 -

I'll be changing your name to SLAPPY CHAPPY soonMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
That is a fantastic idea. That would be so much more fun than trying to find the best most expensive gift which is what Xmas seems to be about. I'll bear that mantra in mind when I grow old.
I knew Belfast was full of carp but I thought it was all home grown
Oh dear god no. I tried pretty much everything you listed but again, castor oil is a big no no. Turns out my bubbas were just too darn comfy. DS1 had to be pulled out and with DS2 they pulled the plug and let gravity do the rest! Yes, both were inductions at 10 days over and neither birth was simple. Strange, nothing much has changed with them!
DS2 was awake most of the night. His 1st 2 teeth came through at the same time without any bother but he's making up for it now. Number 3 came through about 2 weeks ago and number 4 is all but there but poor wee mite is suffering.
I'm in a pickle. DS1 has really gotten into Cars and Toy Story and through glitches and bargains, I have loads of stuff from both films. I've wrapped up most of the Cars diecast cars plus a Buzz Lightyear toy but I have all the other TS toys still in the attic (Woody, Jessie, Bullseye etc). I'm scared he'll grow out of them before his birthday (August) but I don't want to spoil him. I also have loads of Happyland stuff but I'm thinking of giving them as joint gifts for the boys next year.
Arghhhhhh I'm hopeless. I want DS to be happy but he is only 2, doesn't know what Xmas is and I have always said I don't want spoilt kids. It's just hard when I've managed to do so well with bargains this year. Damn you MSE for making me hold back cheap but fantastic toys from my kids!
How old is your DS1 Caz? xx0 -
Good morning!!
Felt like the best and worst mummy in the world last night.
Got bored (hubby was on treadmill) so went for a drive. Popped to argos. Spent my food budget on a buzz lightyear for dd1
Went to a few t's. Didn't really get much. Couple of cashews. Some demister pads. Ended up in Rotherham! ( thank heavens for our free diesel!)
Came home.
Woke dd1 up. Gave her buzz. Let her play with him a bit then sent her to bed. It was 11pm so naughty mummy, but still, I felt like the best mummy!
Without this thread I would no way be able to treat her to a toy like that this close to Xmas without it being her main present.
Thanks so much guys!
Off to work to do an extra shift so I can get her a woody now!
Have a FANTASTIC day xxxYou should have messaged we could have met up
Off to hospital soon (planned appointment nothing serious lol) An hour without the kids, to tesco or not to tesco that is the question (to which we all know the answer) :rotfl:
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
How old is your DS1 Caz? xx
He was 2 in August so a long time to wait until I can give him more of the stash. I never thought I'd be in a position where I had too much stuff to choose from. I have loads of Duplo & Lego (from the Asda character event and Ts) but he's too young and DS2 would eat it.
It's embarassing knowing how much I have but how little I spent0 -

:rotfl:and BB;)I don't have any babies to buy for, but that is gorgeous.
Shame they don't do in 20 x times that size, it looks very snuggly!
Just what I thought;)That is a fantastic idea. That would be so much more fun than trying to find the best most expensive gift which is what Xmas seems to be about. I'll bear that mantra in mind when I grow old.

Caz it's Xmas, let him have them:p My DS is an only child(Could only have him and that was touch and go) so I was really paranoid about spoiling him. My logic was if he asked and whinged he didnt get, but if I chose to buy him stuff then that was a whole different matter;);)And he's been sort of spoilt but mainly with love and he knows how lucky he is to get more stuff than other kids but it's done him no harm, in fact I've just found out that he's spent some of his 18th birthday pressie money on my Xmas pressie!!!!! That's my logic anyway, no point in keeping it all and then he's grown out of it. And think what and amazing mum you've been being able to do it for him. Also he's only 2 so no way are you setting a presidence for future Xmas'es by next year he'll have forgotten what he got;) Just my thoughts, rambling a bit their and shouldnt even be on here, but I'm just a big kid who loves Xmas and loves seeing their faces when they open their pressies!!
Actually sorry, sounds like I'm telling you what to do:oDo what you feel comfortable with:)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Uh-oh, I feel a trip to the attic coming on. I'll keep the Lego/Duplo until he's bigger and keep hold of the Happyland stuff for both boys (can't decide who gets what as they're all so lovely and I want them to share).
Damn you NikkiAh well, at least I get to use my paper cutter & tape dispenser some more

Nooooo, not embarrasing at all, very MSE i would say!!
And with regards to your DS and the Toy Story toys, i gave mine a couple of Toy story toys when they were between 2 and 3 and yes they got played with, but i would say now mine r 4 they are definitly using their imaginations more and buzz, woody, bullseye all come out to play almost every day and Jessie is coming for Christmas along with Slinky.. and Toy story will never grow old (well certainly not in this house anyway:D) xx

oh he wont have grown out of it by then, my youngest is 11 and he still loves toy story. but i will say enjoy them while they are little you suddenly turn round and wonder where all that time has gone as it only seems like days ago you had a todler curled up n your knee waiting a story then you blink and the house is full of teenagers who grunt if you are lucky.SPC~12 ot 124
