  • Thanks for finding these, what a bargain!

Did notice that the Mirror was offering the Hibiscus for £4.90 though, but you can only get that of a Plantoffers website and there's no option to send a gift message. However i wanted one for myself so that didnt really matter

Sorry to be the bearer of more bad news but I ordered two plants from them a couple of months ago and both were broken and dying. I contacted them and was told the plants would grow back and be healthy if I removed the broken stems! They refused to credit me and although I tried to save them, both plants did die. I wouldn't have minded but they were expensive. Just be warned. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole now.

Just spoke with Thompson and Morgan to cancel my orders and was told cannt cancel until payment is authorised , they get money and then they give it back even though I want to cancel. Very strange. she said had problems this year with the princettas.

Wanted her reassurance that my friends would not receive twigs she said thought plants were ok but they had probs with the princettas. would not go into detail. As most of my orders were for these I am so going to cancel in morning I ordered 8 plants I cannt take the risk. Thats if I am allowed.

If anyone has received there order of the Princettas can you comment on the condition of them please xx
  • If they are ''having problems'' with the Princettias then why are they selling them???

None of us have money to throw away and as these are mainly being bought as gifts of course the condition of the plants is IMPORTANT

I don't expect a plant to arrive looking exactly like the picture BUT with lots of tlc I do expect them to GROW into healthy and pretty plants which actually SURVIVE!

They didn't say they were selling them off cheap because they were sub standard plants or bulbs and was of course hoping they were healthy plants as have ordered from them before with no problems , some pansies died on me but others have been okay IF I followed the instructions and didn't neglect them! lol

Sorry about that - I thought this was a great deal at a great price and was hoping there would be LOTS OF HAPPY FACES from Nans and relatives receiving them!

Am I being mad for still hoping for the best even though they said there is a 'problem' with them??? lol

Some who's have arrived have said they are okay and look like they will GROW into healthy plants?

I think that is what they said? xx

Its nobodys fault if we choose to order then on heads be it. Lets hope some good ones get through after all its their reputation that will go down the pan.
  • I ordered a Princettia for my mum who lives miles away. I'm wondering whether to cancel it now, as I'd hate for her to receive a twig
