Hi,
Halifax was the card company, all charges were within the last 6 years.
I've requested copies of the paperwork regarding the agencies part in the collection and to find out if it was sold on or transferred to their debt team.
Company dealing with the debts are Blair,Oliver and Scott.
Many thanks.0 -
okey dokey, Who did you senf off to to get yoyr paper work. Was the debt made up of all charges. If there is a debt then it will have to be paid off. So whats the ratio of debt to charges. Did you CCA DCA and then Send off for all your statements to the bank.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Whether it was sold on you can still claim from the bank. I did. If the DCA does not hAVE A LETTER OF ASSIGNMENT AND A COPY OF YOUR AGREEMENT THEN THEY CAN GO TWADDLE. A application form is nooooo good. They will transfer the debt back to original creditor. ie halifax.Night Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi,
The actual amount owing now is £1039.23p this is minus the £261.70 claimed.
The amount spent was roughly £13.00 reclaiming this amount.
There was no communication after the initial letter confirming the claim until I queried the delay last week. This is when I was told by Halifax the money had been transferred to Scott,This was done on the 18th of December0 -
Ok, I can see why they paid the dca. But you still need to know if they are legally entitled to collect. So send off the CCA request letter to thwm enclosing 1,00. I will get someone to cut and paste it for yoy, If this is and old debt thats on a closed account i am surprised your reclaim figure was so small. I take it you had your statements, Did you charge them interest. Am sorry for all the questions. Also what was the other debt you were claiming on. Please if you can tell me everything then there maybe a light at the end of the tunnel xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:
