Please can you add me to the list - I'm going to put on my typing work as it's extra money (I'm a SAHM) and am only going to put on the ebay stuff since January. Don't know if I'll get to £2012 but it's nice to see the money adding up isn't it.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Well I'm definitely going to need to save now, as my bike got stolen today
What makes it more upsetting was that it was my 21st birthday present from my parents0 -

Awwww:grouphug: poor frithalouise i had mine stolen a couple
of years ago. I was so mad, but keep a look out one of my friends got his stolen and found it in a local pawn shop a month later. Not all criminals are smart. Its worth reporting it stolen tothe police so if you do see it somewhere you can make a good case that its yours.
If i ever find a bike thief, i'm going to bike lock them to a lampost and invite everyone who has ever had a bike taken to come and pay a pound to tell them what they think of them. I live in cambridge so i reckon that would raise lots of money for charity.Sealed Pot 7 (No. 296 )

Can i ask a quick question
i have bought the daily record all week at 45p a time,
each day you get two free items from lidils.
yesterday was bin bags and tissues totalling £2.89.
Do you count this as a saving?
Thanks in advance0 -

Entirely up to you what you count. My personal take is rather strict, i'm trying to get a savings account with £2012 in it by 31/12/12 from additional income, not the day job, but there are all sorts of variations in how people approach it. It's just a bit of fun and a chance to do a bit of money saving, so join in with whatever works for you
edit: what I do with vouchers is spend them in store, then put cash I would have spent on whatever the voucher paid for into the savings instead...0 -
ok
thank you
my spreadsheet is up and running now0 -

Gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr@ bike stealing scum! im so sorry for you.i dont know if they still do this, but in the olden days the police could stamp ure postcode on the underside of ure bike. if not u can write it a few places where tea leafs wouldnt notice, so if a stolen bike does show up you can prove its ures. i agree, check out local shops, and also local estates and areas where kids hang out, even local bike sheds, altho dont get arrested for being suspicious! dont give up hope, it may well show up yet! :A
