Finally properly underway! £112 from selling some bits and pieces online and £3.36 in from Quidco, so the total is up to £121.10 - more on ebay with bids on, so just about ahead of the game at the moment. Averaging £5.50 a day doesn't seem hard, but mounts up pretty quickly if nothing much is happening...!
  • Made a bit more progress today - £51.14 from Ciao popped into my bank account.

All gone a bit quiet this week for me, hoping for a payout from Onepoll to turn up and got a toothpaste trial in the post today and get to keep it post the trial so adding those costs to the total.
I get really upset if I cannot achieve soemthing each week - already.
Ebay Items listed only one bid on so far some watchers, we shall see how we go.
  • is it to late to take part? would love to give it a go! x

I am nearlly at another £5 redeem for on sb again only redeem 2 weeks ago and just new to SP but up to 118 there a long way to go but cant moan for things that only take 5 mins a day :j

I am a bit annoyed i did a JB project won most ivolved member and £50 but they sent it to wrong email address so can not access it

Who/what is SP, SB and JB - and can I join if it only takes 5 mins a day.?? ;)

Just a really quick catch up on the Mr T (see, joining in too!) expired (not lost) voucher thing. I did as Ruthy1604 said and typed the voucher code in and it worked. One voucher came back as saying it had been re-issued, which I have no idea about, but the other went through OK. I could only do this for buying online and I didn't test it against redeeming for their rewards. I also couldn't see a way of printing them out as new coupons, however it does mean they are not entirely lost at all. Amazing really as their website does specifically say once expired they're gone for good. So a huge thanks Ruthy1604 for that tip. :T

Morning all! Have decided (and convinced DH) that I'm going to keep a record of how much I have saved/earned each month and on payday will transfer this amount into a savings account in the hope that come December I will have £2012 to put towards a cruise for our 40th birthdays next year. Hopefully, I will resist any temptation to spend it (unless emergency) and I will actually benefit from doing this challenge. Otherwise I'll just say "oh, I've saved £26 this month but frittered it away on I dunno what." Now to hunt down a savings account :-)

Adding £10 to my total after a rather hilarious day at work. I work in an office building on reception a couple of days a week and today went into the kitchen to find an employee of the month poster with my face on it and a description of why I was getting the award. Funny as I am the ONLY employee! Posted the photo on Twitter to find out who it was. Boss e-mailed her partner and asked if it was him, he suggested it was one of the companies in the building and they suggested it was me! So I could see the whole thread and knew it was the clients. They suggested I should get a £5 book token and my boss sent me a £10 Amazon voucher! So £10 and hysterics. :)

ooohh I have got my first bid on one of my ebay items:). This is all very exciting. I think I am going to take a look at selling through amazon too as Zapper have given me some low prices on some good books too. I tried to do a few of the survey sites I have signed up for, but V.O wont recognise my email address at sign in, even though they have been emailing me. Might try again tonight. Also added a few pennies to the savings jar. Its all adding up. My other half is even getting in the spirit of it, looking out for bargains and buying in a more considered way:j
