Hi all, I know I'm a bit late to the party but I'd love to join you - £2012 seems a good but achievable amount! I've been so lazy lately just putting things in a charity bag when I could make a few pounds on ebay if only I could be bothered, hopefully this will spur me on to do so.
Haven't read the whole thread yet but from what I've seen there are some great ideas ... shame I got my tax rebate in December as that would have been a nice amount to start me off with
EDIT - I've just checked my online banking and am off the starting blocks with £1.60 cashback and £1.45 interest this month = £3.05. Only another £2,008.95 to go!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Anyone know of a way to get cash for old Videos? We have a heap of them and I suspect they are worth nothing but just wondering if anyone has managed. (Car boot sales not really an option)0

Hi again,
I am looking for a bit of inspiration really. The £2012 in 2012 challenge is the only one I am doing right now. I have noticed that lots of people are doing things alongside this. Can anyone recommend another way of saving, or thinking about saving that I am not doing??
Currently, I am doing the 2012 challenge, have a savings jar at home, save clubcard points and then double up at xmas, and have started saving on an asda card. I have started a list with Zapper and I am going to give ebay a go. I have signed up to receive freebies and they have started to arrive. I also have a save the change account, with means all transactions from my current account are rounded up and the difference is transfered to another account. I never notice it going out of the account, and its nice to find the extra cash put aside.
I dont do secret shopping, surveys or cashback sites. Nothing against them, just a little unsure about it all.
I am a bit late for the shopping budget challenges this month, but will try to give them a go next month.
Any suggestions, or advice for what works best.
Thanks in advance;)🎄PAYDBXMAS21 #11 £11,300/£11300

I'm in for this. I need to pay at least £2012 extra off my debt this year. I've already started the sealed pot challenge where I put anything I make or save in my savings account. Then in about December I'll write my loan a cheque for how much I've saved/made.0

Really really frustrated
Didnt sell a thing on ebay this weekend and have over £40 tracked on Quidco but no-one's paying any cashback, been waiting since October for some of it.
No mobiles to sell, no clothes, shoes or jewellery. Books and PC Games already listed on Amazon or Game (and not selling even at 99p)
Can do surveys for pennies but struggling to make money when there's not a lot left to sell.
Any ideas?£2012 in 2012 Challenge £2051.06£2013 in 2013 Challenge £500 -

Have you thought about asking any of your less internet savvy friends if they want anything sold on ebay? You could split any profits with them.0
